Recently, “Amsterdam 2015 organized by Royal Netherlands Airlines KLM Turkey and Amsterdam Marketing strong>” introductory meeting was held at the Dutch Consulate in Istanbul. I was also invited to this event.. Netherlands Istanbul Consul General Robert Schuddeboom, Deputy Consul General Hester Jonkman and Amsterdam Marketing Communications Manager Machteld Ligtvoet attended the meeting, where tourism writers and tourism professionals were invited.
In the launch “I amsterdam With the slogan , the cultural heritage of the city and important places to visit were introduced to the participants.. In particular, they talked about what they planned to attract tourists to Amsterdam in 2015.. I know a lot of people who go here all the time and don’t know the place just outside the Red Light District and Cafes. I won’t write here because many people have written before.. Instead, I will point out some places in the city that you should definitely see this year.. Moreover, you will not have the chance to see the events organized in some of these places again in your life.. Let’s start the list then:
1) Van Gogh Museum
Van Gogh Museum Van Gogh’s 125. 205 paintings, 270 replicas and 500 drawings and 850 letters for the anniversary of his death. The exhibition will also feature comparative paintings by the famous painter Edvard Munch, who was influenced by Vincent Van Gogh’s works.. The works of these two artists, who lived in the same period but are not known to know each other, will come together for such a purpose for the first time.. Munch’s works will also be brought from Norway. Of course, some of Van Gogh’s works will also visit Norway as part of the same project.

2) Rijks Museum

3) Sail 2015
In the city Sail, where the best sailboats of the world will compete, will be held on August 19-24.. This is the biggest nautical event in Europe and 14 million visitors are expected.. If you are a sea and sailing lover, this feast is not to be missed.
4) Beach Volleyball World Cup
Beach Volleyball in 2015 World Cup will be in Netherlands. One of the cities where the matches will take place is Amsterdam.
5) Amsterdam Light Festival
Interesting events are organized to attract more people to Amsterdam in winter.. One of them is the Amsterdam Light Festival, which has been held for 3 years.. The historical center of the city will be illuminated decoratively and many events will take place from 27 November 2014 to 18 January 2015..
