Hurghada Desert Safari

It was always among our dreams to go on safari in the deserts of Africa. But we never got the chance. On the last day of our Egypt-Hurghada trip, we had the opportunity to realize this dream.

Thank god we didn’t have to get up early in the morning this time.. They picked us up from our hotel in El Gouna at 14:00.. At the end of the 1-hour journey, we arrived at the area where we were going to do safari.. In fact, we thought we were going to do a short safari with ATV motors, which took about half an hour.. But we were very excited when we found out that the tour will take 5 hours.. We both looked very newbies in white on our feet and flip-flops on our feet.. The officer understood this, and the first question he asked was whether we had something to cover our face.. Of course it didn’t, so we had to buy the pouch from £35 to £70 each.. After getting a brief briefing about the ATV engine we will use, the safari started.. One of the usage differences of ATV engines compared to other engines is that the gas is pressed with the right thumb.. Our guide saw that we are very talented, so the guide, who was relieved, started to go full throttle.. Of course, we also stepped on the gas afterwards.. We go without listening to dust, earth, sand. As time passes, the thumb of our right hand, on which we press the gas, begins to ache as if it will break.. After about 1 hour of travel, we finally took a rest break.. Let’s see what we see when we get off the engine. But nothing can spoil the enjoyment of this adrenaline filled experience. We continue from where we left off. Jumping over bumps, passing through the wind, feeling the sun burn, we hit the gas. Besides, we gave our GoPro to our guide, it’s recording us, it’s not worth our pleasure

Finally, we come to a bedouin village with a population of 150. We took them to rest areas, which resemble a brick barn, where each tour company can host their customers.. After so many journeys, we’re dry inside, we can’t breathe. While waiting for a glass of water, what would you like to bring? Hookah

We couldn’t believe our eyes. Fortunately, we asked our tour guide and he brought us water.. After resting, we first went to the Bedouin village and tasted the bread they had made.. Is it hunger or what taste was not bad. From there we passed to the place where they feed animals such as iguanas and snakes.. Everyone lined up to take pictures, but of course, these creatures were no strangers to us.

Now, camels, which are indispensable in the desert, are waiting for us.. As part of the tour, we took this opportunity to take a short tour with the camels and take pictures with them.. Of course, the woman pulling the camel looks us in the eye to get a tip.

As we got off the camel, we climbed a small mountain to watch the sunset.. There is a really beautiful view.. But since everyone is in a hurry to take pictures, no one comes to mind to watch the sunset after the desert to the fullest.
