I meet new people and meet new concepts every day thanks to Instagram, one of my biggest inspirations lately.. I’m in a period where I want to take care of my house a little while my head is relaxed and things are getting better.. Empty walls are not for me, but when I look, I definitely want to see things about my life left and right.. For example, my living room could be very well equipped with things related to my travels, which are the best habits, hobbies, visions of my life.. However; Since my house is on the ground floor, my wall height is a little short compared to other apartments. And as you can imagine, since the house is a typical Ikea house, it is extremely impossible for me to frame every part of these latest decoration trends.
When this is the case, it fell to me to solve this issue with a few large and large frames.. Erasmus commemorative boxes were opened, collages were made with tickets and photographs.. There were maps, tickets, candies, vouchers we collected from the places we visited with Okan, we combined them, we filled the frames.. I also bought a map of Paris from the Simple Shop at UNIQ Istanbul.. Since it is an illustrative map, it looked very sweet next to collages.. Now the remaining space was looking for a typographic work and of course couldn’t find it.. At this very moment, one of my closest friends, Instagram, rushed to help and introduced me to my newest decorating partner: Paper Print Etc.. The moment I saw their typographic and cheerful works on their profile, my very sweet brand, which I was struck by, was winking at me with the ‘blood searched’ manner, and I had already started to write them an e-mail.. Now, I would like to tell you a little about them.
Tugba and Volkan, whom I met in our mail correspondence’ ‘Paper Print Etc.’, which was founded by two graphic designers, is a brand that mainly offers typographic and illustrative designs.. They are currently working on posters and notebooks, but I think we will see them later with other decorative solutions.. I feel it already.
I don’t know if it’s because my own life goes by so fast and quickly, but work Afterwards, I usually come home and prepare my articles on the computer, so I don’t have much to distract me.. More precisely, my house is so tiny and there are so many magazines under the name of the collection that my walls can’t take another gram of mottled stuff.. I find the solution in black and white studies, I don’t actually see it as a disadvantage.. For some reason, these two colors are the ones that relax me the most in my home.. That’s why I love typographic and illustrated designs that look calm, but actually tell a lot in black and white.. I know there are many who feel the same as me.. So if you haven’t met yet, say hello to Paper Print Etc.!
I would like to emphasize that I decided to write this article after choosing my posters.. You will notice while talking, they are in such a positive turn that it is not possible for a negative business to come out of these two.. Just like themselves, Paper Print Etc.. Extremely cheerful and energetic. I think the most prominent thing in designs is that they convey a message to you.. Also, they work in color, not just black and white.
I took a request from them by e-mail.. Tuğba, for creating a chance to see a stanza of Pablo Neruda’s poem ‘Ode alla Vita’ (In Turkish: They Die Slowly), which has not offended me, has become my motto since the day I started Erasmus, and inspired first my travels, then my writings and my graduation collection, in my home. I would also like to thank Volkan and. The special design they prepared was so sweet that I wanted a notebook that I wanted to take with me everywhere, so that it would be with me at all times. Now we are happily together, always together!
