Che’s Mausoleum and Santa Clara

Santa Clara, with a population of 120,000, is a newly established city where Che’s mausoleum is located. Those who loved Che very much settled here.

There is a large statue of Che in front of the mausoleum. Below it is written “Hasta la Victoria siempre”. It means “preserve the victory forever.”

Inside the mausoleum, there are special items and photographs belonging to Che. They also display their primary school report card here. Mathematics grades 6-7, Geography 9. It means that he likes geography the most.

Che comes from an aristocratic family. A true freedom fighter. He became a medical doctor in 1953. He was born in 1928 and was unfortunately killed at a young age in 1967 while fighting for freedom in Bolivia. It was also sent to Bolivia by Castro. It is rumored that he was sent to Bolivia by Castro because of the power struggle and reported there as well.

Not only in Santa Clara, but everywhere in Cuba. Che has photos, pictures, hats.

We saw dozens of oil wells on the beach on the way back from Santa Clara to Varadero. There are also many lobster and aquaculture farms on the way.
