But I can safely say that we did not encounter a picture like we feared on our route that started in Tabriz and continued with Tehran.. After all, we, as tourists, have always been in central places and visited touristic spots.. Therefore, we did not encounter any troublesome situation.. In fact, what we saw was the modern face of Tehran.. Just as in Turkey, big cities have popular streets and side streets, which are the other side of the coin, the situation is similar in Tehran.
According to the general rules in Iran, young girls are outside with a man who is not from their family, etc.. forbidden. However, such rules are not strictly followed, I can even say that they are ignored.. There are ultra-modern cafes, restaurants, incredibly stylishly dressed men and women in the city.. We always walked hand in hand with your superior, of course avoiding gestures such as hugging and kissing.. We had no problems at all.
In addition, one of the most frequently asked questions is whether a marriage certificate is asked during accommodation.. There is no such requirement in any hotel.. You can stay in a very comfortable hotel with your lover or any of your friends.. The only situation I encountered during our trip was when the woman in charge of the entrance asked me to pull down my already long skirt.. My ankles shouldn’t be visible.

Iran is a country that gets better as you go south. Let’s not lie, Tehran is ahead of Tabriz with its attractions for us. Tehran Places to Visit
Gulistan Palace
I think I wouldn’t be wrong if I say it is one of the top places to visit in Tehran, for Gülistan Palace. It is such a beautiful, magnificent palace that one’s eyes are dazzled.. I, from the Turkish Safavid dynasty, started the construction of the palace.. It was started in the time of Tahmasp and was used as the residence of the shahs of the Iranian Turkish dynasty, Qajar Dynasty.. The palace is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. There are different halls in the palace.. And at the entrance, you have to pay a separate fee and buy tickets for each hall you want to see.. I have visited many of the halls, but I think the marble hall and the main hall called the main part are more than beautiful and sufficient to save time and money.

Tehran Bazaar
Imagine a 1000-year-old historical market. It takes you to another world with its spice-smelling streets and colorful stalls Tehran Bazaar. There are tobacconists, shoemakers, tailors, tinsmiths, cutlers, carpenters, whatever you look for in the market.. In fact, I can say that it appeals to locals more than tourists.
Still, this is a must-stop place to observe the historical texture and atmosphere, photograph Persian carpets, and buy a few kinds of spices.

Moghadam Museum
A traditional Iranian house built using Iranian and French architecture Moghadam museum. It is as if one is going back to those years while walking around the house full of the experiences of the Moghadam family.. The design of the rooms, the furnishings are beautiful. It has become one of my favorite places in Tehran. I would definitely recommend you to go and see it.

National Museum of Iran
Iran national museum consists of 3 halls. Bastan museum, Islamic archeology museum and Dutch museum. We only visited the Bastan museum. Historical artifacts unearthed from the Persepolis excavations are exhibited inside.
The most interesting detail of the museum is the salt man mummy, which died in the salt mine and was not destroyed when it was found years later, thanks to the protection of salt.

National Jewelry Museum of Iran
The must-have of your Tehran travel guide National Jewelry Museum. This museum, which has one of the most valuable jewelery collections in the world, has special items.. You can see the world’s largest pink diamond Derya-i Nur (sea of light) here. This museum is a must-see for jewels, thrones and more that caused many wars.
Azadi Tower
Azadi Tower Persian Empire 2500. It was built in 1971 by Shah Reza Pahlavi for the anniversary of its foundation . The tower, whose previous name was Shahyad, was named Azadi, meaning freedom, after the Iranian Islamic revolution.. The interior of the tower is used as a museum.. And political events are also held in this tower.
Iran Carpet Museum
You can see examples of Iran’s traditional carpet art at the Iranian Carpet Museum. 18 in the museum opened in 1976. There are carpets woven by hand in different regions of Iran from the 16th century to the present day.. Many world-famous Persian carpets, as well as carpets gifted to Iranian statesmen, are exhibited in the museum.
Milad Tower
The 6th tallest tower in the world. Milad Tower, known as the skyscraper, was opened in 2008. If you like to see the city panoramically, you can watch the whole of Tehran from Milad tower.. There are also areas such as a restaurant, cinema, and zipline inside the tower.
Natural Bridge
Two beautiful parks named Taleghani and Aghaghia The Nature Bridge, the largest bridge in Iran. Admission to this bridge is free. You can go and see it until 00.30 at night.. It is also very eye-catching when it is illuminated in the evening.
If you want to go to the bridge by metro, you need to get off at the Shahid Haghani stop in the direction of Tecriş on the red line.. No vehicles on the bridge. You can have a pleasant walk.
Tecrish Square
Tecrish One of the oldest squares in Tehran. There is a shopping mall, restaurants and shops in the square where the traffic is quite heavy.. If you want to observe the local people and see the most important square of the capital, you can visit Tecriş.
Time Museum
Time Museum, that is, Time Museum Tehran travel guide lists not a place where you can see. Before we left, we came across it during our research and took it on our route.
As we went after 17.00, the museum was closed, unfortunately, we could not tour inside.. In his garden, there are historical instruments used for measuring time.. And the architecture of the building is so beautiful and the colors are so heartwarming that even seeing it from the outside is enough.

We visited Mellat(white) Palace, Royal Cars Museum and Green Palace.. Especially the vehicles in the royal cars museum are astonishing.. Vehicles where special guests are shown in the palace garden, which are never taken out of the palace garden, Farah’s Mercedes, which is produced only one in the world, and many more.
It is forbidden to take photos and videos inside the Green Palace.. If you have plenty of time and the weather is nice, walking around is great.. However, if your time is short, you can use the rings that go to the museums in the area.. Ring vehicles are paid.
Darband
Darband Locals’ escape from the city in Tehran. Darband, where they escaped from traffic and crowds and came to socialize, is located at a very high altitude and among the mountains.. The air is quite cool even in summer. You can take the chairlift in Darband and watch the city panoramically.
There are shabby places here, furnished in the style of an oriental corner, and very stylish restaurants.. We had a very delicious dinner at a venue located here one evening.. If you have ample time in Tehran, you can see it here.. But even if you don’t see it, you don’t lose much.
Niavaran Palace Complex
Niavaran Palace The palace where Mohammed Reza Shah lived with his family during the last 10 years of his rule. The meaning and importance of the palace for the people is deep.. While some think how modern and advanced the palace was during the shah period, others think that the shah was swimming in selfish luxury away from the people.. The fact that Khomeini took the palace under protection after the Islamic revolution in Iran stems from the idea that it should be a lesson to everyone.
Like many palaces in Iran, this is a complex and has separate buildings in it.. Each entry is charged separately.. We visited Niavaran Palace and Ahmad Shahi Mension. Most of the furniture inside the Niavaran Palace was brought from France and there are dazzling carpets in the palace.. When we see the picture of Farah and her children, drawn by the special painter for the family in the palace, we remember that they committed suicide after the revolution, and we feel like they are stunned. We are sprained and leaving the palace.

Currency in Tehran

Both the seat ranges are very wide and there is a part of the seat where you can lift and stretch your feet, so it is very comfortable.. The journey takes an average of 7-8 hours.
How Many Days Should You Spend for Tehran ?
If you start the day early and use your time effectively, you can complete Tehran attractions in 2 days. Where to Stay in Tehran?

An important item in the Tehran Travel Guide list is accommodation.. We stayed at Taha Hostel in Tehran. When the taxi driver said he had come, when we looked up and looked at the building, the outside view of the building was a bit unsettling, but once we got inside, all our doubts disappeared.. It’s a hostel, with separate multiple rooms for men and women, and shared toilet bathrooms.. However, there are also private rooms with 2 beds and their own bathroom.. We stayed in one of those rooms.. This is a clean and sparkling hostel.
Moreover, I can say that it’s the only hostel we’ve seen that serves breakfast.. Maybe it is not very central, but considering that it is within walking distance of the metro and taxi prices are affordable in Iran, I think this can be ignored. If you are looking for an affordable accommodation option in Tehran, Taha Hostel is definitely my recommendation.. It also has branches in Isfahan, Yazd and Shiraz.
What to Eat in Tehran ?
Since we stayed in Tehran for 2 nights and all places were closed during the day in Ramadan, we could only have dinner twice.. We were supposed to go to a nice place where we would try local delicacies again on our first evening, but navigation took us to a very unrelated place and when I was about to faint from hunger, we sat in the first place we saw.. The result is Burgerland.
However, on our second evening, we ate such delicious meals at the Roast Restaurant in Darband that it was not worth our pleasure.. On our table, we had stuffed olives, gilaneh salad, and the main course, teke masti, like skewers and roll kebab..
