When you arrive in Kiyikoy, you will see the walls remaining from the walls of the castle.. The first construction of the Kıyıköy Castle surrounding the town dates back to approximately 1500 years, of course, it has survived for hundreds of years by undergoing various repairs over time.. It is rumored that this castle was very sheltered and the Ottomans, who had difficulty in occupying it, entered the castle as a result of someone who went down to the sea to get water, forgetting the door open, and captured the castle.. Kıyı Restaurant
A beautiful and clean family run business, Kıyı Restaurant serves both breakfast and dinner. preferable. You will probably be satisfied with the taste and service, but the prices are very high compared to a fishing town.
Balıkçı Yasin Restaurant
The view is amazing, the fish is mediocre and the prices are crazy.. Also, they are very slow in service.
Köşk Restaurant
The view is beautiful, the fish is not bad and it is a clean place. Prices are lower than Istanbul but still expensive. There is no one who goes for breakfast and is not satisfied. If you are going to Köşk Restaurant, go to eat fish and try hot halvah on top of it.
Kıyıköy Park
You may have guessed why I needed to add this park to restaurants.. Because instead of taking a risk and going to a fish restaurant, it may be better to eat toast here under the shade of the trees.. Also, there is no need to look for another place to relax, you can drink your tea in this tea garden located in Kiyikoy square and read your book.
Where is Kiyikoy?
Kiyikoy, which is connected to the Vize district of Kirklareli is located on the Black Sea coast. The distance between Istanbul and Kiyikoy is 160 km.
How to Get to Kiyikoy?
If you go by your own car, Kiyikoy from Istanbul Shortest path to ; On the TEM highway, proceed in the direction of Edirne until you see the Çerkezköy sign. After turning from the Çerkezköy sign, you will see the Vize and Saray signs.. You will take the Kiyikoy-Kastro road from Saray, the road is a bit uneven but not too long.. After passing Bahçeköy, you will see the Kıyıköy junction, take this road, it will take you to Kıyıköy.. If you say you are not in a hurry and you want to take the road a little longer and travel in greenery, you can go to Binkılıç via Çatalca and then go to Kıyıköy.. Apart from these, there are also buses that go directly from Istanbul Esenler Bus Station to Kiyikoy, the buses arrive in Kiyikoy in about 3 hours.
