We are on our way to see Nafplio, one of the most romantic cities in Greece. As we can see from the photos, it is the most beautiful
place to go among the nearby places (we are staying in Xylokastro). Even though our plan is to set out in the morning, we leave the house at almost 11:00 with the friends who can not get ready and the endless breakfast table. I regretted a lot later that I didn’t set out early on my own. In order to reach Nafplio from Xylokastro, we first transfer from Kiato and then from Istmos. When I say close place, I plan to go and return during the day, I don’t want to stay because I save all my money for Meteora. The road takes longer than said and our arrival is at 15:00 and we are surprised!!!
Welcome to Greece… As it is known, the whole country starts Siesta at 14:00. Palamidi Castle, which I want to visit with curiosity and which I have heard wonderful things about, which is climbed with 999 steps, closes at 15:00. I go up to try my luck, but unfortunately I also start walking to enjoy the bazaar, which is among hundreds of historical buildings.
A city that absorbs into hot water. Beautiful souvenir shops and cafes are lined up side by side. It is a pleasure to walk sideways and swinging through the streets, and Bourtzi island smiles across the sea at the end of the road.
Unfortunately, I cannot go to the island either because the last return bus is at 17:00. These are the first things I will learn about Greece. I will.
