Experiencing TRATTORIA ENZO within Akasya AVM, one of the best Italian restaurants on the Anatolian side of Istanbul While I’ve been wanting it for a while, at a lunch party, I suddenly find myself among 20-odd girls who talk about their squats 🙂 As soon as I enter the restaurant, I am greeted with both trattoria warmth and Italian elegance. It’s hard to believe we are in a shopping mall.
When I see the Quinoa and vegetable salad served as a starter, I am once again amazed at the rate at which quinoa is spreading in our country.. American origin quinoa is considered to be of great interest to vegetarians because it contains higher protein than other grains, but when I start to come across quinoa in every menu, I can’t help saying that there was no quinoa until now and we are left without protein.. But I think I’m getting used to it, I find the taste of the salad satisfactory.. The cooking consistency of MANZO ALLA GRILLIA (Grilled Fillet Medallion), which is my main dish choice, is successful.. Meat is like Turkish delight, it melts in your mouth. One of the final desserts, TIRAMÄ°SU is overshadowed by CANNOLI served with pistachio ice cream.. CANNOLI, which consists of the Italian version of our curd cheese, RICOTTA, wrapped in fried dough, is one of the most assertive specialties of Trattoria ENZO…
The detail that impressed me the most that day was that the green tea I ordered after dinner was served with honey and lemon slice, as it has become widespread in many restaurants in Europe.. As someone who travels with earl gray or green tea and honey in his bag, the place hits me in the heart:)
