While climbing the Haça Mountain in winter, I receive a Dersim invitation from Hülya, whom I have just met.. Hülya, who is from Dersim, cannot finish Dersim by telling her.. We are contracting for the month of May, but it does not come true.. Fortune occurs in the fall entirely by chance.
Don’t forget to follow me on my instagram account. I tell a lot in stories and highlights

Munzur Valley stretching between Tunceli and Ovacık An area of 42,000 hectares was declared as a national park in 1971.. This is one of Turkey’s largest national parks. 8 km from the center of Tunceli. Again, we will witness nature dancing with colors. It’s autumn time.. The end of something, sadness, will send us off with magnificent views. This is a great suggestion for those who are bored with the classic autumn routes. Completely by chance, I found myself in the magnificent Dersim mountains and Munzur valley national park.
How to Go to Dersim?
My friend is a person who left the village of Karacabörük in Dersim and graduated from Sorbonne University, but never left his village.. When you invited me to your village, exhausted from my travels, I was thinking of returning. I was full of energy when I said, “Come with us at the weekend, you’ll be back from Elazig airport.”
At first I had no idea it could be this amazing.. We were just going to the village… I was in Batman and we reached Dersim by car from the impressive views of the region.. It took about three hours. You can reach Tunceli from the airport in Elazig.
Those arriving by plane can rent a car from the airport, or from Tunceli airport to Tunceli for 20 liras, provided that they make a pre-reservation from Tunceli VIP. they can reach. You can reach us at +90 428 212 62 50 phone number.
From the Seyit Rıza Statue, minibuses leave for Ovacık in the morning and evening, and then you need to take a taxi to go to the lakes.. Pülümür or Nazimiye minibuses also provide transportation to the Kutu Stream side.
Kutu Stream
Kutu Stream side is used as a beach in summer.. First we go to Kutu creek. Even in this season, it is not very difficult to get my feet in the water.. Autumn is before our eyes in all its glory.
There are restaurants on the banks of the stream.. When we enter one of them, we encounter photographs and words of Can Yücel, Tuncel Kurtiz, Che Guevera and Yılmaz Güney in its garden.. It is possible to see the fish in the water with the naked eye.
Palavra Square
Then we are at Palavra Square in the center of Tunceli. Dersim is in four mountains, there is even a song. The view is magnificent. Munzur Stream passes through the center of Tunceli. Around it, the Dersim mountains reach into the sky.
There are places to have tea and eat right at this point.. You can enjoy the view and nice weather. I’m dying to see the eyes.
Munzur Valley National Park
You have to pass the checkpoints when entering and leaving the center.. Afterwards, you witness the clear water of Munzur Stream with a thousand and one shades of yellow, red and green colors of autumn, and the Dersim mountains reaching the endless blue sky.. There is no entrance fee in the National Park.. This road is already Munzur Ovacik road.
The thoughts of “Oh, if it’s hot but I can jump into that water” are in my head, the weather is on our side, actually, we are having a joyful day like children on our palate with the taste of the last sunny days.. This land I stepped on hosted many pains in its time.. We are grateful for this day.
I take so many photos that we don’t understand how the time passed. However, we are hungry. We are going to Dikilitaş restaurant on Munzur Stream.. I’m on the hunt for black fish I’ve heard before. thankfully there is. It looks pretty tasty to me.. A portion around 20 liras.
It is priceless to taste the black fish on the balcony above the water, to watch the black fish swimming under us from the glass terrace, to watch the suspension bridge a little further away, to enjoy the view and the conversation.
I have in mind to climb that suspension bridge. As soon as we get up, we find ourselves a bridge. because there are a few. The famous blue bridge here, but I prefer the suspension bridge instead of its metal look.. The view like the painting at the entrance takes me away.
You should go to the Cuban cafe in Ovacik and see it.. It is very enjoyable to look at the photos of Che and Fidel, to read the words, to be in this place run only by women.. There is also a ski center in Ovacik.. Mountaineering, trekking etc. in Tunceli. activities are also widespread.. I am very interested in climbing the Dersim mountains every season.
I wrote it in the spring list.. There are inverted tulips, I must go to see them. Many vegetation, rare birch trees, and a wide variety of wild animals are found in this geography.
The crater lakes on the Munzur mountains at 2000-3000 meters high, the boiling waters on the Ovacık side, the canyons, the waterfalls pouring along the valley make this place unique.. This is a very interesting geography for photography groups, apart from ordinary routes.
Karabörük Village
As we have done everything, we can go back to our village and warm up in the burning stove and eat food made from products collected from the garden.. Karabörük village is one of the evacuated villages at the time and its owners now go back to their homes and at least spend their summers in their village.
Near the demolished houses there is a new they built houses. Old and new houses intertwined. Ruined houses that witnessed past experiences. Walnut, apple, quince trees, filled. Nothing is wasted.
They make wine from very rare grapes harvested from the few remaining vineyards.. Pulp pulp. The seeds of melons are dried. I’m learning to make apple cider vinegar. There is a feverish work for the winter.
A few days of quiet, calm, resetting my head, grounding my body, stealing from my life where I worked but was happy with it, but it’s priceless. The city that I didn’t think I would go if I thought for forty years, gives me unforgettable days and friendships. See you in the spring
