BALI Economic Travel Guide

BALI ECONOMIC TRAVEL GUIDE

3 days in Bali… Eat pray love !

It is a little difficult to find the most appropriate sentence to describe Bali… We think Bali must have had a hard time understanding the mystery of Bali, as this is a mystical island found late, where bohemian life and luxury life intertwine.. Bali Island, also known as the island of the gods, has become a destination that has attracted the attention of the world after tourists from Australia, Singapore and Japan.. For now.. If we look at the history of Bali, towards the end of the 1200s, the Majapahit Kingdom took control of the island and established the Bali colony on the neighboring island of Java in 1343 AD.. In the 19th century, intellectuals (artists, painters, musicians) migrated from Java to Bali.. Therefore, it is not a coincidence that you accidentally come across a work of art while walking on the island.. This is why Bali, which has art in its history, is associated with art.. In addition to art, the island with a population of 4 million has the best surfing beaches in the world.. You also have the opportunity to do many nature sports on the island.. The area of Bali Island, which is 90 km from north to south and 140 km from east to west, is 5600 km2.. So, to give an idea, Bali is about half the size of Cyprus.. When Bali’s natural beauties are combined with waterfalls, clear waters, lush nature and volcanic mountains, one can say that whatever one seeks is on this island.. Therefore, if you wonder why Bali, one of the 17,000 islands of Indonesia, is the most famous, the answer is this compact life and on top of that, we say the people of Bali, who warm the heart with their natural beauties and smiling faces.. Although Indonesia is a Muslim country, Bali is predominantly Hindu and has 9 Hindu denominations.. That’s why they have so many temples. There are altars, houses, cafes, gardens, etc. that you can only see in Bali.. From these altars, meals and various treats are offered to the gods according to their beliefs.. Do not touch the altars, where they usually burn incense to offer to the gods, put various flowers – especially marigold wreaths – and sometimes food in leaves on the houses or roads.. The mystical atmosphere of Bali also has a share in the fact that everywhere is covered with prayer.. Bali architecture surprised us. The old Balinese houses are single-storey and there is a Balinese dead house in the houses that make you feel like you are entering the museum with stone carvings at the entrance door.. So it’s kind of like a family temple.. Yes, according to their beliefs, the deceased was kept in his house until the appropriate month (we do not go into details to avoid misinformation)… Everyone has their own temple at home.. Traditional Balinese houses consist of 7 parts. Many families live together. They have to stay in the same house even after they get married.. Houses belong to the family, not to the individual. These ostentatious houses leave themselves to two-storey neglected houses where poorer people live, especially in the north… eat, pray and rejoice, no matter what you eat; If you want to love people, nature or whatever you want… Our tour of Bali with rice terraces, big and small, is starting…

Bali currency Rupiah. 1 TL = 4600 Rupiah. Average main course price is 28000 Rp.. 10 Rupees and 100 Rupees are the same color, be careful.

The ideal time to go to Bali December and January. Also, January is the most crowded season on the island.. Because the regulars of the island coincide with the school holidays of the Australians.. Do not be afraid that I will come across monsoon rains in these months. – The rainiest time between the end of January and the beginning of April- We did not get wet under that rain with flip-flops on our feet.. Also very beautiful.. April-September is the dry season.

Language spoken in Bali Indonesian. This language is taught in schools, but more than 50 languages are spoken in Bali.. Java and Bali are a bit more difficult.. Hati hati = attention, Tarima kasih = thank you, salamat datang = welcome, tamu = foreign, cantik = pretty (indi means pretty for the view), warung = shop… In general, people in touristic areas speak English. Or even though they can’t talk, you already get along somehow…

TRANSPORTATION TO BALI: HOW TO GET TO BALI?

Bali Airport (Bali Airport (Ngurah Rai) Denpasar – Indonesia) more commonly referred to as Denpasar Airport. You can go to Bali by plane.. You can go to Bali Island by plane from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or India with local airlines.. If you book your flight in advance, you can find a flight ticket for 20€. We went to Bali from Singapore with AirAsia.. Of course, it was much more affordable than taking a plane from Istanbul.

BALI INTERCITY TRANSPORTATION

Transportation in Bali is like that not by bus. Subway or train? Let’s not hear.. They must have thought that the best transportation is the transportation you do yourself, in Bali, everyone is either in a taxi or on a scooter.. Traffic is weird, but everybody obeys the rules. Maybe there is someone moving in the red light, they are carefully warned.. On the other hand, the main roads are brand new asphalt.. You can even tell that you have entered a more untouched area from the beginning of the dirt road. VEE traffic flows from the left, they will rent their own car, be careful!

  • Motor: You can rent a motorbike for an average of 50.000 Rupees ($5) per day.. They drive so crazy and scooters can come out of anywhere. If you don’t want adventure, especially in rainy weather, we say don’t choose it.
  • Minivan: I mean, small minivan.. If you are more than 3 people, it may be affordable to rent.
  • Taxi/Car rental: both cheaper than taxi prices in Istanbul and reliable. Turn on the taximeter or bargain before boarding. The best taxi company is tried for the blue-colored Bluebird. We called a taxi from the hotel where we were staying, we made an agreement on both the price and the route before we boarded… We also had a friend from Bali: Here is Andi and us Actually, it would be wrong to just say a taxi.. Because you know car rental, there is a driver on top of it.. Vehicles are also very comfortable.. You say how many people you are before you get on, they send vehicles accordingly. So you don’t travel around the island with yellow taxis

ACCOMMODATION IN BALI: WHERE TO STAY IN BALI?

Bali You have many alternatives for accommodation in :

  • Places in Kuta region were sold to foreigners 10 years ago.. That’s why there is a hotel per step. Therefore, this also breaks the price and it is more affordable than other parts of Bali.. In addition, due to its proximity to many nightclubs, the preference of young people is Kuta and the adjacent Denpasar and Legian. There are also 5 star wires in Kuta. For example  Hard Rock Hotel Bali raises the bar a little bit. If you can, definitely stay here.. We were only able to take a picture of it :/
  • They don’t want to repeat the mistake they made in Kuta. Ubud is therefore more uniquie. Ubud, Sanur for hotels in greenery and spa centers. The presence of fast food chains such as McDonald’s and pizzahut in Sanur is an advantage for budget travelers
  • The region with the best 5-star seaside hotels Seminyak
  • Nusa Dua for luxury hotels

You pay the room rate in hotels, not per person. We stayed at the Park Regis Kuta hotel in Kuta for convenience in terms of transportation and paid 1050 TL for 4 nights including breakfast… The breakfast is great! What are you looking for?. Thus, we skipped lunch, shshs..
