Darıca Hobbit Village In Martyr Er Gökhan Hüseyinoğlu Beach Park in Darica district of Kocaeli. This place is also known as Darica People’s Garden.. Darica Hobbit Village should not be confused with Forest in Kocaeli.. This place is much closer to Istanbul.
How to Get to Darica Hobbit Village?
Darica Hobbit Village is on the Anatolian side of Istanbul (Kadıköy) about an hour away. It is 30 minutes away from Pendik and Tuzla.. After passing in front of Gebze Technical University, you can reach it with a five-minute car journey.. Just type Darica Hobbit Village on the navigation.
Those who want to come to Darica Hobbit Village by public transportation, get off at Gebze stop with Marmaray and take bus 416 to Darıca Millet Bahçesi. What can they reach. This is a pretty big park, there are 3 parking lots inside.. If you park your car in parking lot B, you can reach the Hobbit houses in a short time from here.
Darica Hobbit Village Trip
Darica Hobbit Village is an ideal place if you want to spend a few fun hours with your children. There are 15 colorful hobbit houses in the park.. You can open the doors of some of them and go inside to take pictures.. If you have been to the hobbit houses in Ormanya, this place may be below your expectations, but it is still among the addresses close to Istanbul where you can go with children.
This is a very enjoyable area not only for families with children but also for adults.. Even I, when I saw the colorful houses, I almost went back to my childhood A big park by the sea, with a view of Osmangazi Bridge, with plenty of greenery, and where you can spend time outdoors during the pandemic period Darıca Millet Bahçesi.
Darıca There are no entrance fees for The Hobbit Houses. There is a walking track, basketball, football and tennis courts, a bicycle path, camellias where you can have a picnic, and even a public beach.. There are also different playgrounds for children.. Barbecue and samovar are not allowed.
If you are planning to come here, it is best to take your food and drinks with you and have a picnic by the sea.. If you wish, you can also eat at the cafes and restaurants belonging to the municipality. If you have the opportunity, I recommend you to come to Darıca Public Garden on weekdays, it can be quite crowded on weekends..
