Day 550: I’m Where I Started, Bangkok

My way is back to Bangkok. I always come back to this city. I corresponded with Hayko from Couchsurfing site the other day, a German living in Bangkok.. It’s not true to say German.. When I corresponded with il on MSN, he surprised me with his fluent Turkish.

I thought he was Turkish born in Germany, I was wrong.. Hayko, who is from Hanover, Germany, fell on the roads when the big furniture company where he worked as a carpenter was sold and then went bankrupt.. He got in the car and went from Italy to Turkey.

After traveling from one end to the other in Turkey, he went to Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, then sold his car there and returned to Turkey.. That return, he spent 15 years in Turkey.. “No one spoke English, so I had to learn Turkish,” he said, smiling.. He later got involved in the tourism business.. Currently working as a partner of a tourism company. It has solved web design languages at the same time. B

After coming to Thailand for a few weeks’ vacation and spending some time, she followed an advertisement she saw on the street and found herself renting an apartment in Bangkok.. He was saying, “I burned the ticket, I came for 2 weeks, I’ve been here for 2 years”, laughing at the same time! Undoubtedly, he will be one of the most colorful personalities I have seen during my trip.. lives on the floor. Especially the night view of Bangkok from his apartment is amazing. He hosted more than 150 travelers via Couchsurfing.. Last night, I met 2 girls, one of whom was wearing a headscarf, from Indonesia.. Young girls only 20 years old.

They went abroad for the first time in their lives.. They made a plan to travel to South Asia for a month.. One from Indonesian Papua and the other from Java Island. They had their money stolen in their first day in Bangkok. Hayko helped them while they were just stranded.. I chatted with them quite a bit about Indonesia. Those who know, Indonesia is one of my favorite countries.

I came to Bangkok with such an interesting and warm climate.. If the beginnings are good, the aftermath is also good.. I think I will love Bangkok more than I thought.

Day 549: THB:38, Bangkok. Friday, February 3, 2012

550. Day 1: I’m Where I Started, Bangkok. It has been exactly 550 days! I entered Thailand, the first country where I started my trip, by road from Malaysia a few weeks ago.. Apparently, I travel very heavily, look, after I entered Thailand, I could only reach Bangkok after 39 days of sightseeing!

This period of 550 days was completed in Thailand, New Zealand, Fiji, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Borneo. and i spent in philippines. During this time, I visited Malaysia and Singapore twice.. However, I have visited 9 countries.

I don’t know how long I will stay in Thailand at the moment, but I have a visa until February 25th.. The next countries will be Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.. Vietnam is a country where obtaining a visa is very difficult for a Turkish passport.. If I can get my Vietnam visa, I’m thinking of going to Lao first and then going to Cambodia and Vietnam.

Of course, everything can change at any moment.. Let’s see where the wind will blow me…
