Economic Ways to Go to Iceland

Iceland has been a dream for me for a very long time, but it has been a very distant and difficult destination for me.. After all, it was Iceland.. it was iceland. It was another planet that could not be visited in one go, and even if it was too expensive, it was legendary.. As with all my travels, everything at once, with a message, “Shall we go?” It started with “Let’s go”.

Is Iceland Visa Required?

Let’s go, how shall we go? You must have a Schengen visa to go to Iceland. If you do not have a visa, you can apply through Denmark. If you do not have a Schengen visa and are planning to go directly to Iceland, you can find full information here.. Since I have a valid Schengen visa, I did not spend time on visa procedures.. I went directly to the research where I can fly cheap..

Going to Iceland

It is not possible to fly from Turkey to Iceland in one go. No flight. Usually people fly via Frankfurt or Copenhagen. This was pretty expensive for me.. I think I’ve looked at every European country I can think of.. Finally, I decided to fly to Lviv, Ukraine, then overland to Katowice, Poland, and fly to Iceland.. How easy is it when you build and write this sentence in one go, but it is not easy to get these tickets and provide other links and go.. The hardest part is scheduling flights and figuring out how to get from Ukraine to Poland. Ukraine also does not allow one-way flights into the country. The probability of eating deport is quite high, but the only thing I can trust is that I went to Ukraine 3 months ago and came back.. So with a one-way ticket, you will never be allowed into the country unless you have been to Ukraine before, especially if your birthplace is east.. I would say never try this option.  I bought my departure flight from Pegasus Airlines for 463 TL. I bought my Iceland flight from Wizzair for 97.91 Euros (635TL at the current exchange rate).. It shows 400 numbers on its site, but when you say exchange rate difference etc., the fee goes up to here.. It also departed from Katowice, Poland.. Lviv is a city very close to Poland.. Just an hour from the Polish border. It used to be Poland.

How I got from Ukraine to Poland by road?

From Lviv to Katowice Airport 4-5 hours by navigation was between. When I searched on the internet, the transportation was by plane, but it was very expensive.. I then looked for bus possibilities. I learned that there is a company called Busfor. There are buses almost every hour.. You can access the site here. I think I set an alarm for Blabla Car because I like excitement.. When I looked 20 days ago, there was no transportation between Lviv and Katowice.. As the date approached, many trips began to fall on my e-mail address.. I chose one that suits my flight times.. Payment was displayed in hryvnia. I wanted to pay in euros. He accepted. I paid 20 euros.

Blabla Car driver Andrew picked me up and other passengers from the airport at 10am. Polish border took 1 hour. We were at the border at 11 o’clock. It was 2 in the morning when we were able to pass.. There are too many controls. They asked where I went, why I went, if I had money.. Vehicles and bags were searched one by one. My fingerprint was checked. They did not look at the Ukrainians. I was at Katowice airport at 7 am. 10 at night 7 in the morning. So if you are not in your own vehicle and you have to cross a border, do not rely on the time given by the navigation.. Buy your plane ticket accordingly. If you say what is bla bla car, you can read it here.

How I Fly with Wizzair

Wizzair is a Hungarian company that is one of the cheap airline companies. Wizz Air, just like Ryanair, is an airline company like Pegasus Airlines, the European equivalent of Low cost, in Turkey.. There are very important criteria that you should pay attention to in such cheap airlines.. Airlines called low coast earn money from points you don’t pay attention to.. It sells tickets cheaply, but charges extra for every additional service you want.

You can read how to fly with Ryanair in my article here.

The price it shows when you start to buy tickets from Wizzair is the price with hand luggage. What he calls hand luggage is a tiny 40x30x20 bag.. I decided to buy without baggage because the number I saw when I wanted to take luggage officially doubled my ticket price.. Knowing that my job will be difficult. We accept baggage with dimensions of 40x30x20 and not exceeding 10 kilos free of charge. Of course, you can take extra baggage. While it is more affordable when you buy it online, this price is of course much higher if you buy it when you go to the airport.. Women’s handbags are also considered as extra baggage and are not taken.. This is how it says on the site. (I was carrying a small bag extra. No one looked at him.) With all this information, I went to Katowice airport, trying to fit into the smallest bag I could.

I flew with Pegasus in Turkey.. When you check-in online at Pegasusta, you can print your ticket from the kiosks and go directly to the gates.. There is no bag measurement there so. The problem is how to fly with Wizzair. You must print out the ticket you bought from Wizzair. You can make your check-in free of charge from a computer or mobile phone application 1 month before 3 hours before. From the airport. If you want to do it, it’s paid. Don’t leave it to the last minute though.. Reminder e-mails are coming in order to buy luggage and seat until the last moment.. If you choose the web check-in option and go without doing it, you have to pay 30 Euros.. Even if you choose the option at the airport, you do nothing and pay 10 Euros.

Wizzair and Luggage Have to be Fighted

Your flight on the screens at the airport when it opens you get in line with other people. Just because you have checked in does not mean you can go directly to the door.. You give your printed flight information to the officer at the counter.. The attendant will ask you to fit your bag into the measuring area.. Coming out of the counter and waiting for you. Of course mine didn’t fit.. I asked permission and ran to the toilet.. I wore a lot of things inside. I put a few things aside. There was that measuring device near the toilet.

I don’t know how many times I went between the toilet and that place I needed to measure.. Finally it fit and I ran to the counter to continue where I left off.. When I saw that the people next to me took the bag when it didn’t fit in front of the officer and put it in the other bag, and put it back after the measurement, I got angry at my rush.. Luckily, when mine took shelter, I went back to the toilet and put the things I had set aside back in the pockets, the bag.. I didn’t bother for just one piece. I was close to missing the plane because. I suggest you hang your boots or sleeping bag, if any, on top of your bag.. I packed everything in the bag. I had two coats. Didn’t look at them. All of their pockets were filled to the brim.

Since you are already in the Schengen region, you will not have to go through any passport procedures.. You can go to the direct call and go through the security gates, as in other flights.. Of course, all food and drinks are extra on the plane.. I don’t need to write it but maybe someone will be curious. I read somewhere that there is a free siting application, but you get your seat number. There is no such thing as sitting where you find an empty seat. The air company, which has flights from Istanbul between 2009-2010, is in Turkey due to the flight permit canceled by Turkey. It cannot serve.

Being able to return from Iceland

The issue is returning to Iceland as much as going to Iceland. Since we could not return in one go, I had to be able to return home from there in an economical way.. Cheapest flights from Iceland with Norwegian Air. The cheapest flight I looked for was via Norway. If I’m coming back from Norway, then I bought my ticket to Bergen, thinking that I can visit Norway in a week.. I paid 55 euros. Pegasus does not have flights from Bergen to Turkey.. That’s why you need to go to Oslo. Looking at the train and bus options on the road, the most affordable way was to fly with the domestic Norwegian Air.. He also cost 52 euros. If I had not gone to Bergen and extended my journey for another week, I would have been able to fly directly to Oslo for 55 Euros and return to Turkey with Pegasus for 484 TL.

How Did I Fly With Norwegian Air?

Norwegian Air just like our Pegasus actually. It is also possible to find more affordable tickets if purchased in advance.. I always bought tickets at the last minute. You only pay for the ticket when you proceed from the “I have only hand luggage and no luggage” option.. A few days before the flight, he sends you an e-mail to sell you seats and luggage.. Free check-in mail comes 24 hours before the flight. The mail arrived quite late on my second flight.

It didn’t cause me a panic.. You can check-in from the incoming mail and print directly from the kiosks at the airport.. You don’t need to print it before you go to the airport. I printed the ticket from the kiosks and went directly to the gates without going to the counter.. I never appeared to the staff at the counter.. I was way over my 10 kilos right.. I had a few coats in my hand, a bag on my back, a bag in front of me.. I still don’t know how they got me on the plane like that. I boarded the Pegasus in the same way and was able to return home.

Pegasus (Istanbul-Lviv)         : 463 .00 TL
Blabla Car (Lviv-Katowice)     : 130.00 TL (20 Euros)
Wizzair (Katowice-Keflavik) : 635 ,00 TL (97.91 Euros)
Norwegian (Keflavik-Bergen) : 350.00 TL (54.86 Euros)
Pegasus (Oslo-Istanbul)           : 484.00 TL

<

I was able to travel to and from Iceland for a total of 2,062.00 TL. If I hadn’t bought these tickets two weeks ago, I would have been able to fly much cheaper.. If I had flown via Frankfurt or Copenhagen like everyone else, the only departure would have been 2,300 liras.. So going to Norway cost me 52 Euros (343.33 TL).. Considering that the round-trip tickets I bought from Pegasus’ campaign are also free, I flew almost free to Iceland and Norway, the most expensive countries in the world.

Come on now, take action to write your own adventure. Nothing is impossible.
