Entertainment World in Singapore Sentosa Island

When I think of

Singapore, I think of Universal Studios more. So much so that I finally went to this place that I couldn’t go to when I came before because of the tight time and rain.. Since the day I came, I have come to this day as today, tomorrow.. Complexes consisting of many amusement and theme parks, golf courses, butterfly park, underwater world, museums and resorts such as Universal Studios are located on Sentosa Island.

It attracts more than 5 million visitors per year. You can swim in the beautiful beaches, experience different excitements in entertainment complexes, spend thousands of dollars in luxury hotels and casinos on this attractive island.

Sentosa Island, which was used as a base by British soldiers, was a very interesting holiday island in 1967. organized as. 250 different species and more than 2500 sea creatures live on this island, which also hosts huge aquariums.. Its 83-meter tunnel, located deep in the ocean, is the longest tunnel in the world.. This place is also one of the most famous entertainment areas in Asia.

A tiny island in the south of Singapore, Sentosa is a magnificent entertainment center with its beaches, artificial islets, botanical gardens, museum and underwater paradise.. There are also daily shows on the island.. The show of parrots is one of Sentosa’s most popular events.

Sentosa is connected to Singapore by a bridge and cable car.. The buildings on the island almost disappear into the trees. The only building that stands out is the 37 m high merlion (lion) statue.. It is possible to take the elevator up to the lion’s head and see Singapore from a bird’s eye view.. Transportation in Sentosa is provided by a monorail (monorail).. Most parts of this walkway are accessed by walking bands.. The entrance fee to the island, which was opened in 1974, is 1 Singapore dollar.. Those who wish can reach the island by the cable car (26SGD) departing from near Vivo City.

The height of the cable car called Jewel Box, which consists of 82 cabins for six people and goes at a speed of 4 meters per second, is 96 meters at the starting point and is above the water level at the second stop at Harbourfront. It is 69 meters high. 7 people died when an oil tanker collided with one of the cabins in 1983. The cable car, which was closed for 7 months and redesigned, has not had any other problems since then.. It is said that the cable car has a magnificent view.

When you step on the island, which means “calmness, tranquility” in Malay, you find yourself in a liveliness and activity despite its name.. When you reach Resort World Sentosa, located on the right at the entrance of the island, the entrance to Universal Studios will catch your eye.. I bought my ticket from the ticket office (74SGD, 108TL) and went inside.

When you first step into Universal Studios, you find yourself on Hollywood Boulevard of the 70s.. There are souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes, vintage red trucks selling popcorn.. Restaurants that were popular in the America of the 1950s, besides the classic cars parked in front of them, many celebrities such as Charlie Chaplin and Marilyn Monroe were walking around the streets and taking pictures with the visitors.

The next section, New York, is neon lights, It makes you feel like you are walking around the streets of New York with its classic restaurants.. I watched a musical show here. Here again, 5. I had the opportunity to watch a scene re-enacting how a category-violent typhoon hit New York.. A few meters ahead of you, boats were blowing up, roofs and windows were flying, huge waves were crashing into New York skyscrapers.. At the end of the scene, a huge cargo ship crashed into our location.

Without lingering in the Hollywood and New York episodes, I threw myself into the Sci-Fi City episode with excitement, because science fiction is my favorite title.. I queued up for Transformers The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle. Wearing your 3D glasses, we accompany Optimus Prime and join the fight for freedom with the evil robots to save the planet.

Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs.. CYLON was my favorite episode. Here is the world’s longest dueling roller coaster. Here you choose one of 2 trains. I first chose the Human part where the queue is less. After leaving the items in the free computer-controlled lockers for you to leave your coins, phone and purse, I rushed to the queue. The queue could only come after 1 hour.. A few seconds after I sat on the seat and fastened the seat belts, I was screaming on the rail, which was going with sudden turns to the right, left, up and down at 83 km / h on the rails.. When I got off that seat 2 minutes later, my heart must have been beating in the 120s with excitement, with my first roller coaster experience in my life.. Of course, with smiles on our faces.

I did not dare to queue for the CYLON, which is faster and more exciting than the human train.. I couldn’t waste that much time. I’ve been on spaceships called the Accelerator, which, after boarding, had the opportunity to spin around and measure the limits of your stamina.. It’s okay if you always keep your eyes on certain places, but if you don’t, you may witness that you are staggering from place to place when you land.

I couldn’t resist the Algida Magnum that caught my eye in the Ancient Egypt episode (6 SGD, 9 TL). In terms of architecture, this was the ancient Egypt section that I liked the most.. You wander among the giant statues. Again in this episode, this time you escape from mummy and scarab attacks in the dark with a fast roller coaster indoors.. Those who don’t care about the Battlestar Galactica roller coaster may not say it.. With Treasure Hunters, which may appeal more to children, you are touring on the rails between the treasures with the jeep you are riding, a very heavy tour.

In The Lost World, you can find yourself flying like birds with the Canopy Flyer.. In Far Far Away, you can join a 3D adventure of Princess Fiona & Shrek, and in Madagascar you can travel through the jungle among our Heroes.. It may be a better experience for children.

When the number of visitors decreased towards the evening, I threw myself on the Battlestar Galactica CYLON.. Once I got in, I got to sit in the front seat of the train.. He was sitting in the chair that came at this hour while he waited in line for 1 hour in the Human section of the day.. I can say that it offers an experience where you will hit the bottom of the adrenaline and your heart will beat like crazy.. The experience of climbing high and sudden turns, descending as fast as 5 meters below the ground and passing you through the fog, is completely different.. After the CYLON experience, I ran to the HUMAN section. Then I came running again and sat on the CYLON seat and did each one twice.. It was too much for me as someone who had never been on such high-speed trains in his life.

When I saw a climbing wall in The Lost World episode, I didn’t want to pass without trying it.. I’ve never had a climbing wall experience before in my life, and on this trip I didn’t miss the opportunity to do so (5SGD). I climbed the 11.5-metre-high wall with the fossil scallops on it, which seemed pretty easy to me.. It is as easy as ever to go up, but it is as scary as always to look down, I guess it is equivalent to the height of a 5-storey building.. Even the technology of almost 15 years ago was better than in Singapore. In short, it is not a place that can be compared to studios in America.. We can say more games and theme parks. Without the Battlestar Galactica roller coaster, I’d say it’s not worth the price.. Although I had a good time, it fell far below my expectations.

My accommodation recommendations: Those who want to stay in Orchard Road can stay at Grand Park Orchard Hotel. very nice hotel. Again, the Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel, located in the most beautiful places of Clarke Quay, can be an exquisite choice.. The Marina Mandarin Hotel where I stayed in the Marina Bay area was also a suitable choice.. One of the most suitable places for those who would prefer a hostel is The InnCrowd Hostel where I stayed for more than 10 days in Little India.. I also recommend Betel Box in Joo Chiat Road, close to Geylang Street, where I stayed when I first went to Singapore.

I watched the dance of water and light with music in Lake of Dream and visited the Merlion statue.. In Santosa Island, you can go to the main island by monorail and you can reach other parts of Santosa free of charge by this vehicle.. Tired and hungry after visiting a few places on the island, I threw myself first at the food court of the Vico City shopping center, and then at my home, my hostel in Little India.
