Turkmen Waterfall, also known as Su Flying Waterfall, is one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Manisa.. Since Turkmen Waterfall is located in a wooded area, it is a favorite of picnickers, campers, travelers and photographers, especially in summer.. Thanks to the bolts driven on the top of the waterfall in recent years, Türkmen Waterfall has also hosted Canyon athletes.. Of course, I’m here too, not to open my arms and pose against a waterfall, but to come down from the top of that waterfall.. That’s why I’m on the road. I don’t think anything different could be expected from me.

Turkmen Waterfall Directions
< If we were to make
Turkmen Waterfall directions, some of the waterfalls located in the region between Manisa, Aliağa and Menemen remain in Aliağa and some in Manisa.. It is possible to reach the waterfall from Karakuzu Neighborhood of Aliağa, Turkmen Neighborhood of Manisa or Çukurköy area of Menemen.. If you say how many km is the distance from Manisa to Turkmen Waterfalls, it is 43.8 km.. It takes exactly 1 hour and 14 minutes.. Of course, this speed you go depends on the breaks you take.
We went through Manisa Turkmen Village. I’ve been asked so many times, How to get to the Turkmen Waterfall? I usually go to my destination by navigation.. This time, I was not using the vehicle, but our teacher also went with navigation.. Navigation is faultless.. Signs on the road also say Great Waterfall. Do not look for the Turkmen Waterfall sign. Turkmen Waterfall is called Big Waterfall. Take a good look at the navigation. It can draw two separate paths. One leads to the upper part of the Turkmen Waterfall and the other leads down.. You will find access to the top in the text.. I recommend the bottom. It’s the most logical one.
Türkmen Waterfall Small Waterfall
We arrive at the creek edge of Turkmen Waterfall in the early morning hours.. The first thing I notice is the discarded garbage.. Please take your trash with you PLEASE. While our teacher, who was driving along the road, fell asleep, a few friends were going to the Little Waterfall under the Turkmen Waterfall.. Turkmen Waterfall becomes Big Waterfall. The waterfall below it is called Little Waterfall.. Of course I throw myself into the water. The weather is very hot. We drove all night. Shouldn’t our morning shower be at the waterfall?. Ice cold water feels so good.
After everyone wakes up, we are getting ready to train at Little Waterfall first.. It’s about a 10 meter waterfall.. You can climb to the top of the waterfall from the right side. Although my fear of heights resurfaces in some parts, I can move forward by holding on and passing without looking down.. A pool has formed where the Little Waterfall spills.. It is very enjoyable to swim there.. You can’t descend from the waterfall without your equipment.
You just have to go up and swim and enjoy the view. Otherwise, it may cause accidents.. Be very careful even when going up and sideways.. After we think we’ve done enough training here, it’s time to go to the Turkmen Waterfall.
Turkmen Waterfall, Where to Camp?
We will camp at the Turkmen Waterfall at the same time. There are no suitable places to set up tents at Küçük Waterfall.. If you can sleep in a hammock, what’s up. It is possible to camp at the place where Türkmen Waterfall falls, but the ground is very stony.. narrow space. We will not be able to find a flat place and camp together.. It’s getting too crowded.. The next day is Sunday and there are a lot of daily visitors.. Considering that we may have problems keeping our bags safe, we are considering camping above the Turkmen Waterfall.
This means that we carry all our camping gear very steeply on our backs. we have to move it up from the woodland. Seven good guys and me, camper. We walk back to the vehicle from Küçük Waterfall and get our supplies.. The distance between Küçük Waterfall and Turkmen Waterfall is 1 km.. It is a very steep 1 km! There is also a distance between the car and the Little Waterfall.. It also takes 10-15 minutes.. you calculate. The rest depends on our performance of course.. The strong come quickly. You leave the vehicle by the stream. You have to walk the rest of the way.. let me say it again. It is very steep and the soil is slipping strangely.
On the contrary, I have a problem in my heel.. I can’t print. A huge bag on my back, crazy heat, a crippled foot… I’d be surprised if something was easy anyway.. After half an hour of climbing, we reach the campsite.. At the top of the Turkmen Waterfall, there is a clearing by the Ibrim Stream. Thorns covered but friends will cut them clean. Since it is difficult to get here, we aim to get rid of the crowd for a bit.
Can you go to Turkmen Waterfall by Caravan?
To go to Turkmen Waterfall by caravan Is it? Since Turkmen Waterfall is not on the road, you cannot imagine a caravan camp with a waterfall view.. The closest point you can go to can be the side of the stream where we parked our car. There is asphalt until the side of the stream.. NO facility here. Not suitable for people and caravans who are not self-sufficient and need facilities. There is no market nearby. There is an observer. When planning, don’t forget the picnic crowds on the weekends.. To see the waterfall, you have to walk as we did.
Turkmen Waterfall Pools on İbrim Creek
We leave our camping equipment and enter the stream flowing into Turkmen Waterfall. The name of this stream was İbrim Creek.. There are pools in places.. It will be very enjoyable to swim and jump here.. You have to walk carefully here too.. Some places are really hard to pass.. Turkmen Waterfall was bolded last year by my Canyoning club Ict Canyoning. In other words, the steel that will last 100 years has been hammered into the rock.. We will tie the rope to these rings and go down.
When our teacher has a headache, he finds a shadow and sleeps.. So I lay my head on the stone, right where you are. I fell asleep there. Right on top of Turkmen Waterfall! I wake up cold. Even though it’s insanely hot, the place I’m in is so high and blowing. While they sleep in the shade I go to the back ponds and swim. Then we all go to the camping area and set up our tents.. We stopped landing today. Everyone is very tired and we have already descended from Küçük Waterfall in the morning.
Turkmen Waterfall Camp
Erdogan cleaned the campsite. The campground was very nice when the thorns got rid of it.. The thorns were purple though. like a flower. Everyone sets up their tent in a place they like. I also tie my hammock to the tree.. On the one hand, we are not hungry.. Meals are being prepared. the fires are burning. Conversations begin. That night our fire never goes out. We rest and rest and eat. until it cracks. After everyone is asleep, the head of the fire is left to me again. I’m watching the stars. I listen to the crackle of the fire. These are my favorite moments. Silence, just the sound of fire and stars or full moon if there is. I accept all. Most of the time I fall asleep in my chair and go to my tent in the morning. It doesn’t change this time.
I wake up with the sun hitting my tent in the morning and throw myself into my hammock. No more shields. After a while, when everyone starts to get up, the breakfast begins.. How to make menemen from only one tomato and two peppers for 8 people? Murat, who did this, joined us from Manisa.. It really does and it’s enough for everyone. I respond with an egg with sausage.
Breakfast was served. tea was drunk. Then, our purpose of coming here is to go down the Turkmen Waterfall and start the zipline, while someone comes and friends start How can we get to the Türkmen Waterfall campsite more easily? to look for ways.. I’m swimming in the ponds as they walk left and right, asking people who’ve been there. I’m sunbathing. I do jumping exercises. Because I have a problem jumping into the water from a height.
Let me add that while it is not easy to get here, here is a sea of garbage.. Eaten seeds, melon peels, packaging waste… Where else can I go to find a clean place? he revolts. When I say Turkmen Waterfall, garbage and filth will remain in my mind.. Thank God.
How Many Meters Is The Turkmen Waterfall?
They tried so hard, but they couldn’t find an easier way to get to the upper part of the Turkmen Waterfall. Only if we can find tractors from the villagers. or if we have a 4×4 vehicle, we can come more easily.. Maybe it shouldn’t come easy. If it’s easy, this place will be crazy crowded.. We set up our ropes and start our descent one by one.. The fact that it’s open at first scares me so much.. Since the canyons are like corridors, you can hold on to the left and right, but there is no branch to hold on here.. There is no place for fear in this sport that I started to do to overcome my fears.. I’m climbing the rope too.
Turkmen Waterfall appears to be 30 meters in all sources, but according to our rope measurement, it is 47 meters high. Here we go down from this 47 meters height. Our goal is to make landings without being exposed to water.. Turkmen Waterfall or Uçansu Waterfall, whoever likes the name, I’m starting to descend. The wall of the waterfall is covered with moss and it slides strangely.. I can’t put my feet. That’s when I release the rope. It’s a quick descent. For a while, brother Erdogan pulls my safety. However, I wanted to hop and jump a little.. Lastly, I push myself off the rock and shout, let it go, and it does.. So I let go of the rope and I’m in the water.
It’s flowing so hard that it’s a matter of being able to swim to the shore.. oh i forgot by the way. We have a tribune of nuclear uncles. They’re applauding like crazy every time they land.. I’m coming out of this flood of applause. I’ve never had this much fun. After a little dry and rest, I go back up. This time there’s a zipline.. It wasn’t that hard to go up the right side of the Turkmen Waterfall.. Maybe I wasn’t forced out because I didn’t go out with a camp load.. I arrive at the campsite before there. Then I go down to the creek again, pass all the pools and reach the station.. If I said easy, I think it took more than half an hour.
Turkmen Waterfall Zipline
After my previous experience, the zipline is light.. It’s a lot of fun but I prefer rope descent. It’s harder and you’re in control.. Same uncles, same applause. We go down one by one and climb back to the campsite to collect our camping gear.. I’m tired even typing. I stood well. I wouldn’t have lasted without the love of getting into the water though.
We collect our camping gear and eat the leftover food. we are hungry. We carried two watermelons there as a joke.. We eat one but bring the other back down again for the friends below. this is even funnier. No one ate that watermelon, and we gave it to the observer.. What a mess, my weird watermelon.
As we go down, we pass through crowded picnickers.. I also eat what I passed through. They are already offering. What large families. for a neighborhood. After everything is placed in the vehicle, we start the pancake and tea section at the creekside pancake.. Nobody has a turn. Flatbread was around 7 TL if I’m not mistaken and it was delicious. Local businesses should also be supported.
What awaits you at the Turkmen Waterfall;
- Internet Neither does the phone.
- There is no fountain. You must take your water with you. Unfortunately, İbrim Creek is dirty.. I got a splinter in my hand. He got a germ from the water there.. I walked around with inflammation for a week. Think twice before swimming. Luckily we are not sick.
- There is no hotel or hostel.
- You can camp. Lots of camping options.
- Wood is in abundance.
- You will camp completely in nature. No facilities. No WC
- There’s a waffle downstairs but that’s it. You can also drink tea or something cold.
