In our previous article, ‘who is given a green passport” and we talked about the full list of 2018 visa free countries with green passports. Now it’s time for yhow to apply for equal passport and yhow to get equal passport.
Don’t be intimidated when you say that, actually, it is very easy to apply after you prepare your green passport documents.
The first step;
Preparing Required Documents for Green Passport Application
1-) You need to receive a green passport request letter addressed to the Ministry of Interior. If you are an employee (such as a civil servant, public official), you first have the request letter approved by the authorized person in your institution (you can download the form here).. If you have retired or left office due to withdrawal, you need to have the request letter approved by the institution from which you resigned or retired.
2-) Your previous passports, if any,
3-) Original and photocopy of your identity card
4-) Two biometric passport photos,
5-) Book fee receipt
6-) And lastly, in case of underage or disability, the consent letter from the legal representative must be among your documents.
The second step:
Paying the Passport Book Fee
You don’t have to pay the fee you pay when applying for a claret red passport, but you don’t have to pay the book fee when applying for a green passport! The current fee of the book value is 108 TL (November 2018). If you are one of the contracted banks with your identity card, just go.

The third step:
Making an Appointment for Passport from the Provincial Population Directorate
This step must be the easiest step to apply for a passport!
https You go to ://randevu.nvi.gov.tr/, choose the date that suits you, make your appointment, then you wait for your appointment date, that’s it.. You can also choose the Provincial Population Directorate in any city.
Step Four:
Receiving your passport
The process is complete! Your passport reaches the address you specified in the appointment within approximately 10 days, which is the passport delivery time.
