How to go to Aybasti Uzundere Waterfall?

Uzundere Waterfall is located in Aybastı district of Ordu. Uzundere Waterfall is as long as its name and pours from a height of 105 meters.. There are 6 other large and small waterfalls below Uzundere Waterfall, although they are not that high.. We could only see one.

How to Go to Uzundere Waterfall?

When we see the Uzundere Waterfall sign in Aybastı on the way to the Thursday Plateau, we say let’s stop by on the way back.. None of us had heard of this waterfall before. When we saw such a sign in the crowd and traffic of Aybastı, it gave us the impression that it was right there.. It never occurred to us that the road could be this long and difficult.

The most beautiful place is the Uzundere Waterfall signs that never leave us all along the way.. The navigation keeps getting confused in some places and luring us around the villages. At the point where we are stuck, we ask for directions in the villages. The ones we asked have never been to this waterfall. Didn’t even care. They don’t even understand why we’re leaving.

At last we come to a village. This is Uzundere Village’. Two children are playing in front of a house on the way to Uzundere Waterfall.. I’m asking about the waterfall. he points at me with his finger. I can’t explain how beautiful children. They are truly amazing. The waterfall is right after their house.

First View of Uzundere Waterfall

After all we’ve gone that far, our only wish is for it to be worth it.. We say “I hope it is not something like a fountain”. On the one hand we walk, on the other we climb, and when we turn the corner, it makes us say “wow buddy”. We do not know that it was 105 meters at that moment. Our only problem is that it doesn’t fit in the frame and it’s getting dark.

Sometimes it’s not easy to photograph the beautiful things you see.. Metehan is trying very hard to fit in one frame at a time.. I’m having a bit of a heart attack at the time. It’s having palpitations. The road had taken so long that it was evening.. it was getting dark. The light was escaping for the photo. Even though I said “don’t give up”, he didn’t give up and he took that photo.. I’ve been starting to think that I’ve been spending a lot of time on photography lately.

Yes, it’s so nice to take a nice photo and then look at those photos and be happy. nice but i put off living that moment. I returned with magnificent images that I could not photograph but have been engraved in my memory during my Black Sea journey.. I get so excited while describing this that it is a more amazing feeling than showing the photo.

As it is evening time, our dream of swimming in the waterfall is leaving for another spring. Since we do canyon sports, we dream of descending from the top of that waterfall with a rope.. These plans have to wait for the next arrival. All we can do now is sit on the bench overlooking the waterfall and admire it.. Listening to the sound of water and nature.

How Many Waterfalls Are There in Uzundere?

Uzundere Waterfall is a single waterfall it wasn’t. There was another waterfall below. We think there is a second waterfall at that moment, but in reality, there are seven consecutive waterfalls together with Uzundere Waterfall.. The highest flowing one was the Uzundere Waterfall. As far as I learned from the internet, this is Turkey’s highest waterfall. We just entered from a sign we saw on the road.. Not knowing what awaits us. what did we do well. It’s a great discovery for us.

We turn back as it gets dark.. Concrete poured on the ground just outside the waterfall. This is in preparation.. I think Uzundere Waterfall will be flooded with people after a while. Front work benches erected. It means that he will immediately start to build a hut and cut money, and people will come with their garbage and dirty everything.. Then there will be no trace of the calm and peaceful life in this village.

Don’t rely on navigation on the way back either, we’re lost. Turn signs are not enough. It was past midnight when we could return to Thursday.. We had stayed at Metehan’s mother’s house on Thursday the night before and we had come out so cool in the morning.. The roads were waiting for us or something, but we couldn’t get far.. Since we entered every sign we saw and enjoyed everywhere, we scrambled back to the house and ran to the stuffed peppers that were waiting for us.
