The day of fulfilling the excitement of going to Giftun Island before starting the Hurghada journey has finally arrived.. We woke up early in the morning, met with the officer who will pick us up in front of our hotel, and went to the beach of Beirut Hotel, where the boat will depart at 09:30.. We got on the boat by providing our snorkel equipment included in the tour.. With our boat tour experience of all these years, we started a pleasant journey by placing on two of the only 4 cushions.. When 2 German young people like us came along, we didn’t even understand how we got to the location where we were going to snorkel, chatting and sunbathing.
The point where we first snorkeled was about 5 meters deep.. We had the opportunity to swim to the fullest, leaving ourselves to the depths of the Red Sea with a variety of colorful fish.. During this 1-hour snorkel, we had enough of swimming and watching the underwater beauties.. Our second stop was a shallower area with plenty of reefs than the previous one.. Here, we did a lot of snorkeling and took beautiful videos and photos thanks to the gopro, and we set out for Giftun Island.
As we got closer to Giftun Island, our excitement increased.. Although there are no Palm trees that we are used to from the Far East (although there is also this island, but there is only one), the white sand and the color of the sea did not remind us of the Far East, which we are in love with.
