Ahhh Iran ahhh you left such a mark on me that I will never forget it for the rest of my life.. Everything comes to mind while preparing Iran Travel Guide. Guess where our trip to Iran, where we calculated everything point by point, ended. I am answering, unfortunately, at Isfahan Amir Hospital.:D Unfortunately, the only place I saw in Isfahan was the hospital.
I would like to present you a perfect Iran route, but our trip is 4. In the minute we arrived in our city, Isfahan, my foot was broken in 2 places.
What Happened to Me in Iran
The End of Our Iran Trip and My Foot in 2 Places Breaking
We entered Iran from Van and visited our first stop, Tabriz.. Afterwards, we toured the cities of Tehran and Kashan in detail.. Our goal was to go as far south as Shiraz.. Cities and architecture both get better and better, and our excitement grows as we go south.
We woke up early in the morning in Kashan and quickly set off and started to head towards Isfahan.. We arranged the Varzaneh desert tour for the same day, not to miss. Fortunately, we got off to the Isfahan bus terminal in time.
We went to the main street, Üstün called a car from the Snapp app, but the vehicle was across the road and was waiting for us far away.. At that moment, another taxi appeared in front of us and we agreed on the same price. Üstün took the suitcase and proceeded towards the taxi. I stepped on the roadside soil as I was walking down the pavement towards the road.. It would be more accurate to say clay-looking mud, the top is dried from the sun, but the bottom is soggy mud :(. I can only shout because my foot is broken, the superior does not want to believe, he says he is sprained, he says, let me take a taxi, let’s go to the hospital.. But I know that leg is broken!
I’ve been talking about ambulance for minutes, I can’t even cry because of the shock.. The ambulance came and they took me in pain and then we went to the ER.. X-ray was taken and it was concluded that my foot was broken in pieces from both the fibula and tibia bones.. The doctor said he needed surgery.. Here’s the second shock. We are in Iran.
We decided to return to Turkey for surgery after thinking it through.. But rest for a few days, our doctor in Iran said. For 3 days, I spent my days as the favorite patient of the hospital, without moving my foot even the least, without understanding a word of what the nurses were saying.. Rasool and Hadi, the owners of the company with which we will tour the desert, have been supportive from the first moment to the airport, the owner of the hotel we will stay, Narcis, his wife and daughters have come to visit us with gifts and sweets.. We left Isfahan with a broken foot, happy to meet such beautiful people.
From Iran to Turkey
From Turkey to Iran We spend twice as much for a one-way, one-person flight ticket as we spend for 2 people round trip.. Coming to one of the hardest parts of the job for me.. The problem is that from the moment I fell, I was always lying down and never moved my feet.
Now I have to get off the stretcher and sit in the wheelchair to get on the plane.. I went down to the wheelchair, crying with fear. When the THY representative saw my condition, he had a problem, he said, “You have a lot of pain, I can’t take you on the plane like this.”. I beg, we convinced the man. Then get off in Istanbul, take the plane to Izmir. When I came to Muğla by ambulance from İzmir, I made 3 transfers with a broken foot.
Back to Muğla
The problems did not end when we reached Muğla, We coincided with the Ramadan holiday and there was only one orthopedist on duty at the hospital.. Fortunately, our doctor turned out to be a competent person.. I was hospitalized in Muğla for 3 days and I underwent surgery 7 days after I broke my foot.. After the operation, it was very painful for 2 days, but to whom we sent the x-rays, the doctor said that he did a great job.. Although, if I had driven that many platinum screws, it would have been like a stone, I’m sure . He came from the municipal health services every 2 days and made my dressing and. they took my stitches in my day. I was walking around the house on crutches because I was not allowed to step on my feet.. Exactly 45 days after the surgery, my cast was removed and I started walking slowly.
Continuemmmm
The doctor said, little by little, you can give a quarter of your body weight and step on it.. Even though I was scared at first day, I got used to it and started walking slowly.. 10 of my surgery. I had another small operation during the week and my doctor removed another one of the screws.. I was discharged the same day.. My momentary situation is better, 2. It’s been a few days since the operation.
From now on, the recovery phase, the bone will heal over time, my edema will decrease, my gait will become normal, I will regain my running reflex.. And I will definitely go to Iran again and visit my beautiful friends I won
