HOWTH
You can stop by Howth, a seaside town northeast of Dublin, for a nice walk. However, it is up to you how the right choice would be in the winter, as it is a town where the Irish go and stay in the summer.
This is the closest option to Dublin among the places to visit in Ireland. It is possible to arrive with a train journey of 25 – 30 minutes.. When you arrive in Howth you can walk around the whole thing, that’s what I did. If you want, you can also travel with 31 or 31B buses.. If just seeing the atmosphere is enough, wander through the houses, each cuter than the other, and arrive at the harbour.. Walk along the harbor watching Dublin Bay and return to Dublin with a final lunch break. GLENDALOUGH

You can go to Glendalough as a one-day tour with Kilkenny by bus from Dublin, that’s what I did. I think it makes more sense to go with a tour, as the road is long, it is necessary to stop at more than one place and they give detailed information about the regions..
