Jordan Travel Guide Places to Visit in Jordan

Jordan. With the arrival of spring, I had a passion for hitting the roads again.. Crazy questions in my mind. I can’t stand still. What kind of virus is this friend! Once it is mixed with blood, why does it take over your whole body, soul, life? Why can’t you think of anything else? Why is the weather so cold and we still longing for the sun make us dream of other lands?

1-Beginning to Jordan

Here is the land and nature come to life, In the spring season, when even the wind blows differently, I said to myself that I have to go somewhere immediately.. I shouldn’t have been like that classic European city, nor should I have traveled far for 12 hours.

There must be something nearby but different.. There had to be a place that is not available in other countries, where my mouth would stay open for minutes when I left, and I would hear my heartbeat in my ears from surprise.

Petra : to visit in Jordan there are so many places

Research has begun. Finally, when I randomly saw the capital city of Jordan, Amman, where Pegasus Airlines was going to make its first flight, it was decided without hesitation.. I went. I saw. I touched. I smelled. I crowned this whole adventure with a 3-minute clip for you to see.. I also added below. Have a good time.

It’s March 20th. I am tired. If I say I have never slept. Do you follow the photograph you see in a magazine that much? This curiosity will kill me.

As if I don’t go, If I don’t see it, if I don’t touch it, something will be missing. Does the same happen to you? What’s going to happen with us. Is it mixed with blood, why is this travel sickness not coming out?. Why is it so beautiful, exciting, the reason for our heartbeat? 54. Even if it’s my country !

Travel companion is important. Wherever I go, my first job is to hit the road with my favorite friends.. This time we will be traveling with Yücel.. He is one of the people I instilled in the culture of backpacking and then became addicted to it.. “Can you come ?” Without asking, he bought his ticket and stood at my door at 2 am.

We start laughing. We set off early in the morning. We will go to Istanbul-Ankara and finally Amman. Excitement keeps my tired eyes sober. If a person has motivation, he can stay up without sleep for 28 hours!

While my eyes are struggling with tiredness, I realize that everything starts when I sit by the window, even there is no trace of tiredness.. Watching the villages of Central Anatolia, I salute the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean.. How nice is this excitement. Full “Come on Deniz, go to sleep. By Allah, you will die of exhaustion!” I suggest to myself.

Wadi Mujib Jordan : Places To Visit In Jordan

But in vain. With my excitement captivating me, I do not miss my camera.. Moments go, memories remain.. Well, I don’t have many moments for you to see these beauties.. Sometimes it is as nice to tell, to send someone on the road and to hear a thank you from them.. I have experienced this feeling in my 3-5 month blogging adventure.. I realized what a great feeling it was !

Jordan Oludeniz

The plane is gliding to the Red Sea. The pleasure of watching begins in the skies of Egypt. First we meet the desert. Then with the deep blue sea. We enter Jordan via Aqaba. I wake up in a second. You ask why ? I have never seen such a sight before, nor did I know of its existence.. I don’t know how to explain it !

Red, orange, crimson etc. now offers a view where you can see whatever you say and see every shade of it.. A landscape where tiny mounds are placed on a flat desert.

As if there were water in this geography, they would all be called islands.. thousands more. even tens of thousands. I saw such beautiful landscapes on the Aqaba-Amman route, my friend, I loved this country before the plane landed.

The famous mosaic in the city of Madaba: Jordan’ Places to Visit in De

Even the way the shadows of the slowly gliding wings passed over the crimson earth beneath made me happy.. Announcement made. everything was ready. Now I was in the land of Jordan, where I came to see Petra, Wadi Rum. I had the same feelings when I landed in Jordan, just as I was happy for a gift my mother bought during my secondary school years.

“To be happy, don’t go shopping.. Buy a plane ticket and chase after it.” Now I realize how right they were.. the world is so beatiful. think about it. Our Jordan trip begins. Have a nice trip.

2-Preparing for Jordan

I’ve done a lot of research on Jordan (see Jordan Wikipedia.). Is it the result? We will make a road trip, that is, we will travel the roads by car.. We rented a car from Amman. 7 days 470 TL. Now I will tell you the routes we will follow, line by line.. But know this. All the places to visit, which I will tell you shortly, are the places to say that you can’t do without a car.

If you have a license, don’t even think about renting a car.. If you do not rent a car, you will miss the already few bus services, and you will cook in the hot on top of it.. If “I don’t rent a car. I’ll be comfortable!” If you say, know that the rest of the taxi will be a lie. 20-30 dinars, which are not very visible as a number, are actually 100-120 liras.. Tell me.

You can use my rent a car abroad article on this subject.

As I said, the hardest part is to visit Jordan. was part of the transportation. This is the subject that I have received the most questions from you so far.. That’s why I definitely say rent a car.

Gasoline is cheap anyway.. Its liter varies between 0.40 dinars and 0.50 dinars.. I will be explaining everything in the transportation section in Jordan below.. I just wanted to state this from the beginning.

Ma’in Hot Spring Hotel-Oludeniz : Places To Visit In Jordan

Another issue will be security.. Is Jordan a dangerous country? Does anything happen to us while traveling in Jordan? Let me tell you this: On a 300 km road, we got stuck at passport control 6 times.. There are police and soldiers everywhere.. Never have any doubts about security. But let me remind you of this, especially to female friends.

Do not wear very revealing clothes.. You are bothered by the looks. This has been the problem of many Arab countries, not just Arab countries, but the world.. They don’t harass with words. But the looks are bad. Why ?

Because I would say there are no women on the streets.. There are 10 men for 1 man in the squares.. Because women are either wearing a turban or a chador, they stare at tourists when they see them.. Nothing really happens. But don’t be offended, I wanted to warn you so you don’t get offended.

3.Where to Go in Jordan? What Route to Follow ?

How to travel in Jordan ? How many days should be allocated to which city in Jordan? These will be your 2 most difficult questions.. Do not worry. Now I will tell you, in order, how many days in which city you should stay in Jordan, and even as a route.

5-Jordan Travel Guide

Jordan. I did not expect such a beautiful country.. I passed the fascinating beauties such as Wadi Rum and Petra, but the people took me away from me.. I met very respectful and knowledgeable people who love us very much.. Jordan will impress you not only as places to visit, but also as a culture.

While traveling in the desert, you will encounter Bedouins, you will not believe your eyes in Petra, and you will be taking pictures with your mouth open while looking at the fascinating structures of the Nabataeans.. Although the country is expensive, you will eat in the neighborhoods where the people spend time, and sometimes you will complain about the expensiveness of the touristic areas.

Wealth : In this rich, really rich country. You will be heading to land where 1 Jordanian Dinar is almost equal to 1 British Pound. Although Jordan is a Middle Eastern country, those with a very good economic situation will continue their lives in luxury and splendor.

Misery : While wealth reigns on one hand, on the other, especially you will be seeing poor neighborhoods created by immigrants. There are millions of immigrants in Jordan. Especially the war victims who immigrated from Syria will be in front of you everywhere.

The Jordanian government has set up checkpoints all over the country to control this situation.. You will be stopped by the military or police almost every 50-100 km and your passport will be checked.. Don’t worry, they love us very much. Therefore, you will continue on your way comfortably.

Jordan Visa : No visa. Isn’t it good news? Jordan does not want visa from us. You can enjoy Jordan comfortably without a visa.

Currency in Jordan : The currency you will use in the country will be the Jordanian Dinar. 1 Jordanian Dinar will cost around 4.1 TL. You can use credit and debit cards in many places in Jordan.. I suggest you contact your bank to open your cards for use abroad.. I suggest you read my article “How Should I Carry My Money Abroad” before you go.

You can change your money after landing at the airport, but they charge a commission of 5 dinars.. let me know. Usually around $100 70 dinars. By the way, I have one more suggestion for you.. Before going to Jordan, I recommend you to read the following sites thoroughly ;

Jordan Official tourism site : www.visitjordan.com

But it is in English. If you speak English, it will answer many questions in your mind.

6-About Jordan

The famous Middle East variety. You know, what you hear a lot on television. Jordan is right in the heart of that region.. Where is Jordan ? Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt. The most problematic countries. Jordan is actually a kingdom. But it’s also a secular country.

Wadi Rum-Jordan. This is not Mars. One of Jordan’s Most Beautiful Lands, Wadi Rum

King is known as the one who carries the culture and values of the country, is devoted to his people, protects and increases the values and welfare of the people.. Jordanians are so in love with their king that anyone you talk to can’t get enough of it.. Both the king and his family are loved very much.. You will already be seeing pictures of the king everywhere.

The Jordanian capital Amman and its other important city Aqaba are the two most important cities.. The official religion of Jordan is Islam and the official language is Arabic.. Despite being a Muslim country, there are thousands of Jordanians who believe in other religions, especially Christianity.. Especially the city of Madaba is the city where the most Christian community lives in Jordan.

For us, Jordan is a small country both in terms of population and area.. For example, in terms of area, it is almost 1 in 9 of Turkey.. Although Jordan’s population is around 6 million, more than 4 million immigrants live in these lands.. This is why incredible security measures have been taken all over the country.. You will encounter police-military checks at least 5-6 times every 300 km.

Let’s talk a little bit about history.. It is necessary to go to these lands knowingly and understandingly.. You ask why ? Who has not passed these lands! Jordan was under the influence of societies such as Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Romans, Ottoman Empire. Actually, the process went like this:. In the 12th century, the Arabs ruled these lands.

There were Crusaders-Muslim wars in the 12th century, 16. 1st century Ottoman Empire and later. After World War II and the British, Jordan became a fully independent state in 1946.. You see, the British appeared here as well as everywhere else.. They call it the state where the sun never sets! Anyway…

Let me tell you some interesting information about Jordan.. Do you know what the literacy rate of the country is? in 92%. Jordan spends 20% of its economy on education.

So more than we do.. Especially King 2. It is said that Abdullah, after taking over the administration after his father’s death, strengthened his relations with both Israel and the United States, and tried to focus on education.. It was way above my expectations. Turns out, that’s the reason, friends.

It has been adopted by the King of Jordan that education should be a priority, even in the Middle East.. I appreciate. I don’t know what’s going on in the background, but the King made such a beautiful breakthrough that earned my personal respect.. Good luck.

7-My Impressions of Jordan

Confused. Pleasant. Exhausting. Full of energy. Exhausted. Sick of. Exciting… Sometimes you will be enchanted by the colorful world while diving into the deep blue reefs, and sometimes you will witness the desert landscape where you will see how beautiful the orange and red colors are.. You will love their food, you will be breaking the back of your conversation with people and two double words.

Baptism Site- Israel Border (The region you see was taken from the Jordanian border) and Israel, where there are people who pray.)

You will be surprised that people in the Middle East are so friendly! You, too, will be as surprised as I am to see a society that loves us so much, and you will be enjoying deep conversations.. Whatever happens, you’ll love Jordan too.. They became one of my top 5 favorite countries.

8-Transportation in Jordan

How to get to Jordan? Jordan I guess you will go to .. That part is easy, but transportation in Jordan; it won’t be easy for me. Why ?

Car rental in Jordan is very simple

Because public transportation and even intercity transportation are very advanced not. The most beautiful way; There will be car rental. You will be very comfortable. Actually, I would like to mention every single detail about transportation in Jordan.. That’s why I invite you to my Transport in Jordan article.

9-Eating and Drinking in Jordan

What to eat in Jordan? Is Jordanian food and Arabic food good? The only problem is breakfast. For the rest, all I will say is: You will have great food.. Shall I talk about the meat cooked under the sand in the desert, the delicious chicken rice, or the fish you will eat in Aqaba?

Tea pleasure in the desert Wadi Rum we made

So you will understand that you will never go hungry. Jordan got full marks from me in terms of both the closeness of our taste buds and the variety of food.. That’s why I wanted to write a separate article in a little detail.. I have explained at length in my Jordanian food article.

10-Accommodation in Jordan

Where to stay in Jordan? How expensive is accommodation in Jordan? We already said that the country is expensive. As a result, hotels are also quite expensive.. I’m not even talking about global hotels anyway.. Almost always the same price. But 3-4 star hotels are usually around 10-15 dinars per person.

Ma’in Hot Spring Hotel-Oludeniz

If it is a hostel; usually 6-7 dinars. In fact, let me summarize for you the lists of the hotels I have stayed in in all the cities I have stayed in.. I have added the links of each one by one.. All of these hotels are moderate in terms of location and price.. You can choose the one you want with peace of mind :

Amman : Click for the hotel we stayed in Amman. (In the heart of the city.)

Madaba : Click for the hotel we stayed in Madaba. (In the heart of the city.)

Oludeniz : Click for the hotel we stayed in Oludeniz. (On the coast of Ölüdeniz.)

Wadi Rum : Click for the hotel we stayed in Wadi Rum. (We were much cheaper than the visible figure.. When we went, 1 room was empty in the hotel.. They made us a nice gesture.. What a hotel… )

Petra : Click for the hotel we stayed in Petra. (It is located on the top of the city. If you have a vehicle, transportation is easy.. But if not, check the hotels in Petra city center.)

Aqaba : Click for the hotel we stayed in Aqaba. (We bought this hotel at the last minute. So you can also look at more central hotels.. Before you forget, book long before you go to Aqaba. Hotels can be full due to the intensity of tourism.)

These were all hotels we stayed at while on the road.. Prices can be expensive or cheap. We somehow managed to stay cheap. We didn’t bother with hostels because we were already road tired.

If you have a good financial situation, you can stay in great hotels.. If your financial situation is not good, I say sleep in the car if necessary.. But whatever you do, be sure to see this beautiful country even once in your lifetime.

11-Shopping-Entertainment-Nightlife in Jordan

What to buy in Jordan? What can’t be bought! I’m not going to say get a magnet or something.. It will already be the first of the gifts you will receive.. But you can buy especially colorful clothes, fragrant essences, wonderful handicrafts in Petra, soap and care products in Ölüdeniz, and antique artifacts dominated by handicrafts in Madaba.

Shopping in Jordan : Amman markets

How and where to have fun in Jordan ? You will dive in Aqaba. Generally 50-70 dinars. You will do camel tours in Petra. You will pay 10-20 dinars. You will walk the canyon in Wadi Mujib. Entry 21 Dinars. What else does one look for? My entertainment life consisted of these, to be honest.

How is the nightlife in Jordan? I don’t know. I did not go. But all I saw was alcohol was too expensive. By the way, I didn’t have any expectations from the night life on my way to Jordan.. I also had no energy.. We sat and drank tea and coffee under the moonlight. But, if you go and want to get involved in the nightlife, Amman will be your address. There are places especially in the Rainbow street area.

But as an alternative to nightlife, Petra by the night is a must.. You know, that famous Petra variety?. Here you will visit it at night and pay an entrance fee of 17 dinars.. The canyon and Treasury illuminated by candles will surely offer you one of the unforgettable moments of nightlife.. Don’t expect anything from Aqaba about nightlife.. Maybe there were clubs in hotels. But don’t expect anything from the city.

12-How Many Days to Stay in Jordan ?

How many days is enough for Jordan? The most difficult question. I don’t know how to answer! Do you know why? While it is difficult for some to stay in a country for even 1 day, for another even 1 year is not enough.. But my personal opinion is to stay in Jordan as long as you can.

Wadi Rum Is Such A Place

Especially Wadi Rum and Petra, one-of-a-kind places. That’s why I will tell you the days that I see fit in order.. One of the most difficult questions before going on a vacation, “How many days to stay?” Let me answer the question myself.

Aqaba-Jerash Trip : 1 Day

Madaba-Mount Nebo-Evanshotspa Trip : 1 day

Baptism area-Oludeniz-Valley Mujib Trip : 1 day

Kara Castle and Wadi Dana Trip : 1 day

Petra Trip: 1 day (Historians should stay for 2 days.)

Wadi Rum Trip : 1 day (It can be in half a day). After all, after 3-4 hours of traveling with 4×4 vehicles, there will not be much left.. Especially start the tour around 3-4 in the afternoon. Thus, you will coincide with the sunset.)

Aqaba Trip : 1 day (2 or even 3 days are enough for those who love diving.)

7-8 in total We followed this route in Jordan, where we stayed for the day we stayed, and we stayed in all cities as much as the days I showed.. Conclusion ? it wasn’t enough. I wish we’d stayed longer and went everywhere we couldn’t go! As I said, this question is one of the hardest to answer.. I hope it sets an example for you before you go for a trip to Jordan.

13-Things Not to Do in Jordan ?

What to do in Jordan ? What can’t be done ! History is history, culture is culture, nature is nature. What are you looking for in this country?. That’s why, now I will list everything that I like and find different, that is not in other countries but unique to this region.

  • Without getting lost in those chaotic streets of Amman
  • The city of Jerash Without seeing its historical texture and Roman ruins
  • Without exploring the streets of the city of Madaba
  • Without seeing the Ma’in hot spring hotel between Ölüdeniz and Madaba. Click to see.
  • Going to the Baptism Area, without seeing the Israeli border
  • Swam in the Dead Sea and without setting the sun in the evening
  • Walking through the canyon in Wadi Mujib
  • Without seeing Karak castle
  • Without falling in love with Petra
  • Staying in Wadi Rum, that is, in the middle of the desert
  • With 4*4 vehicles in Wadi Rum Without doing a desert safari
  • Without diving into the reefs in Aqaba
  • Without tasting Jordanian food
  • Without chatting with the people of Jordan
  • Without walking the roads where red and orange colors prevail
  • Without knowing the history of Jordan and the Middle East
  • Without drinking hookah
  • Without getting enough of Jordanian tea and coffee
  • Without getting the local Jordanian clothes
  • Living in the desert in Wadi Rum and watching the sky
  • Without wandering around Petra both day and night

don’t come back my friend. This list goes on and on. Jordan was one of the rare places that took me away from me and I never wanted to go back to.. What more can I tell, but I hide myself for the travel guides of the cities.. But these will be enough to make a plan for you.

14-What Route Should Be Followed in Jordan?

Where to go in Jordan? What kind of a route to follow in Jordan and where to see? I guess you will be coming to Jordan from Amman or Aqaba.. So you will either start from the south or from the north.. I have already listed how many days you should stay in which city and the days one by one.. But;

Where is Jordan : Our Jordan Trip Route-1 Week

Let’s say from Aqaba to Jordan’ You have arrived and you have 3-4 days. Then the Aqaba-Wadi Rum-Petra route will be enough for you.

If you come to Jordan from Amman and you have 3-4 days, then you can travel the Amman-Oludeniz-Petra-Wadi Rum route in 3-4 days.

I have already told you above how many days you should stay in which city.. I thought I’d mention this separately for those who have a little less time.

15-Why Go to Jordan?

Really why? What’s the reason why I’ve been making your head swell for about 1 month because Jordan de Jordan ? “What is it that exists in Jordan but not in other countries?” For those who ask :

  • There is a truth called Petra. You can’t easily see such a beautiful ancient city and fascinating canyon anywhere.. Except Jordan.
  • Wadi Rum. Also known as “Valley of the Moon.” You will understand why you need to come to Jordan after you get on the 4×4 vehicles and travel for 2-3 hours, and after watching the sunset and feeling the coolness of the desert that evening on your skin.
  • Underwater beauties.. Aqaba is one of the most touristic cities of the country.. At the same time, it is one of the rare places where you can see the rich underwater beauties and colorful reefs of the Red Sea.
  • Dishes. You won’t be hungry. They are not far from our kitchen.. When you say meat, chicken, rice, tea, you can definitely take care of the food.
  • Oludeniz. Resting on the deepest and lowest point lake of the world, without sinking on the water, is not a place you can see everywhere.
  • Evanshotspa: I have shared your photo a few times already.. I really don’t have much to say for the facility, which is located in a valley where hot boiling waters pour into your pool.
  • Enjoyment in the desert.. If you have never seen a desert in your life, you will probably be excited when you see the Bedouins pulling dozens of camels.. The landscape is the kind that makes people say, “Things like that only happen in movies.”
  • History.. These lands are the cradle of the world.. A geography with thousands of years of history. Every place you touch will make you feel something from the Persians, Romans and Ottoman Empire.
  • Sincerity. I found the people of Jordan very friendly. Almost all of them are smiling and a very moderate society towards us.. their love is good. Especially if you meet someone who is good at English, you can get very good information about the Middle East and Jordan.
  • Trekking. The country has great views for trekking. Places like Wadi mujib and Dana offer breathtaking natural beauty for trekking lovers. You should definitely add it to your list.

This list goes on and on.. Apart from lush forests and winter sports, you will be able to find whatever you want in Jordan.

16-How Much Does a Jordan Travel Cost?

We come to the most important question, as usual.. How expensive is it to travel to Jordan ? 50-70 dollars a day is enough for your food-beverage-transportation-entertainment expenses in Jordan.

Of course, this is valid for backpackers.. Do you know why? The currency of this country is very, very valuable. Only the entrance to Petra is 220 TL, that is around 50-55 dinars.

Who knows what beauty I was shooting!

<

Excluding the night entrance fee of 17 dinars. Also, there are no buses to many places.. You will either rent a car or take a taxi one by one and pay for the world.. But let me explain the breakdown of your estimated expenditures in Jordan as follows:

Transportation Costs in Jordan: I start with the plane first.. You will be flying on the Istanbul-Amman (Pegasus) or Istanbul-Aqaba (THY) route.. Generally, flight ticket prices vary between 400-500 TL.

But believe me, just the other day THY was selling plane tickets on the Istanbul-Aqaba route for 200 TL.. Therefore, this will completely change according to the prices you will catch during the campaign period.

If you are going to fly in the country, there are only flights on the Aqaba-Amman route.. Around 150-250 200 TL round trip. The only company that operates flights on this line is Royal Jordan Airline.

As for air tickets, be sure to check my “Best flight and train ticket sites“>. I wrote one by one how you can make your flight ticket costs cheaper.

On the other hand, transportation by bus in Jordan is provided by only JETT company.. This company only goes to certain places.. I already explained it above.. If you want to see the prices according to your destination, you can check their website.. Click for the website.

The easiest transportation in Jordan is provided by the vehicles you can rent.. We rented a car for 450 TL for 1 week.. We used to pay 60-70 TL for 1 tank of gasoline.. “How to travel in Jordan cheaper than this?” If you’re asking, I don’t know. Since we changed cities a lot, the bus option did not fit at all.

Intercity taxis are easily available, but believe me, they will be charging 150-200 TL for transportation between Petra and Wadi Rum.. So, if you know how to drive, I would say rent a car in Jordan without hesitation.. Like I said, roads and signs are fine.. There will be no problems.

In urban transportation in Jordan, it is very easy.. you will walk. Like us, subways, metrobuses, frequent minibuses are not very common here.

You won’t need it anyway.. If you need to use public transport, you will be able to buy your tickets from the buses.. If you are going to use a taxi, either agree with the driver in advance or turn on the taximeter.. Otherwise, they may wake up.

Food Costs in Jordan : Depends entirely on where you eat. If doner (Shawarma)+cola on the street is indispensable, you can have a meal for 3 dinars per person.

If you want to gorge in a mid-range restaurant, you pay 5 Dinars per person.. If you look for a better place, your meal cost per person will be around 10 dinars.. Not forgetting, they will be adding tax and service charge to the menu of many restaurants (especially in Amman).

Jordanian Food is Great

If you want to eat a menu at McDonalds or Burger, the amount you will pay will be between 3-3.75 dinars.. However, if you prefer to eat a nice tandoori cooked under the desert, the price is 10-15 dinars.. you know. Before you go, you can check my article “How to eat abroad cheaply”.

Expenses for Accommodation in Jordan : You will be paying 10-20 dinars per person to hotels.. Of course, this will depend entirely on the quality of the hotel you go to.. These hotels I’m talking about are 3 star ones. I even include the full list of the hotels we stayed in Jordan below.

  • Amman : Click for the hotel we stayed in Amman.
  • Madaba : Click for the hotel we stayed in Madaba .
  • Oludeniz : Click for the hotel we stayed in Oludeniz.
  • Wadi Rum : Click for the hotel we stayed in Wadi Rum. (We were much cheaper than the visible figure.. When we went, 1 room was empty in the hotel.. They made us a nice gesture.. What a hotel it was…)
  • Petra : Click for the hotel we stayed in Petra.
  • Aqaba : Click for the hotel we stayed in Aqaba.

Use the links Booking.com, Hotelscombined.com for accommodation.

Entertainment Expenses in Jordan : Let me tell you 2 important points we had fun in Jordan. The first was the desert tour we did in Wadi Rum with 4×4 vehicles.. Generally, 3-4 hour tours cost 50-60 dinars.. This is the price paid for 2 people. If you are 3-4 people, I would say try to agree on these numbers again.

The second activity is diving in Aqaba.. We did not do scuba diving.. If we did, the amount we would pay would be around 60-70 dinars.. Instead, we snorkeled to the reefs abundant on the beaches.. So we only paid the entrance fee to the beach. That was 15 dinars.

Expenses for nightlife in Jordan : We sat by the fire in cafes or in the middle of the desert and drank tea. We did not go to the night club, nor did we have fun until the morning.. I’m not the right address for this. But if you go to Amman, if you make it on a Friday or Saturday, you can have fun in places around Rainbow street.

But I can’t help but say that. Alcohol in Jordan is expensive outside of Aqaba. Therefore, if you are one of those who cannot do without alcohol in night life, you will have plenty of money.. Let me tell you.

Entrance Costs to Museums and Ruins in Jordan: One day entry to Petra 50 dinars, 2 days entry 55 dinars. Entry at night is 17 dinars.. In other words, you will only pay around 300 TL for day and night entrance to Petra.. You won’t have to spend that much for other museums and historical sites.. Other expensive places will be as follows:

  • While the public beach is free in Aqaba, the entrance to the Berenice beach is 15 dinars.
  • The entrance to Amman Beach on the beach in Ölüdeniz is 20 Dinar
  • Entrance to Main Hot Spa is 15 dinars. But if you say we’re going to eat at the hotel, it’s free.. Did we eat at the hotel? Do you think …
  • The entrance to Wadi Mujib is 21 dinars.

As you can see, Jordan is quite an expensive place.. You’ll be paying the world’s money just to enter the facilities. I’ll admit it: I didn’t know Jordan was this expensive.. Especially touristic businesses are at the expense of fire.. After all, a geography where 1 dinar is worth as much as 1 English Pound.. In the country, the poor are very poor, the rich are very rich indeed.

For example, the salaries of doctors vary between 400-500 dinars.. If you ask how they live in spite of that, they don’t go to touristic places like you and me. As I already said, the most expensive part is the touristic facilities.. You won’t spend a lot of money on food, drink and transportation.. So, how much did I spend on my 1-week trip to Jordan? Let me explain:

My criterion for each country is to separate 50x in that country’s currency. So before I set off, I was saying that I would spend 50 Jordanian dinars a day.. That’s exactly what happened.

If you think of it in dollars, $70 a day (This includes everything but airfare.). A 7-day vacation cost me 500 dollars, 1.500 TL.

We ate 3 meals a day, stayed at the hotel, and traveled by car for 1 week.. Considering that we spent only 300 TL for Petra and 350 TL per person for transportation, including fuel, we traveled with the remaining 950 TL.

Actually, this figure was even more.. You can reduce this number even more by staying in a hostel.. I think under normal circumstances, a one-week vacation could cost 1,000 TL.. Let’s sleep! Now for the next one.

17-When to Go to Jordan ?

When is the best time/month to go to Jordan? The most suitable period is known as March-May and September-November.. It’s not good to go, especially in the summer.

“It gets incredibly hot here.” our brothers we met were saying. Of course, the choice will still be yours, as the country is sunny in 4 seasons and is suitable for swimming even in winter.. Even in winter, if you are one of those who want to go out in shorts, you can add them to your list.
