Last Day on Kuata Island

It rains quite a lot during the rainy season in

Fiji Islands. I have witnessed that it rains mostly at night time. During the day, during rainy weather, a thick layer of fog descends on the islands.

The best time to visit Fiji is between June and September.. Since the weather is dry and less rainy in these months, it is more fun to explore these beautiful islands and the sea.. Between November and April, it is not a surprise to encounter rains, as it is a humid and hot rainy period.. Since I came here during the transition season, sometimes there can be a bright sun, and sometimes clouds like today can fall over these beautiful tropical islands.

The hostel room of Kuata Natural Resort where I stayed, I woke up a lot at night, the kid across from me was talking in his dreams. , even one time when he started talking at length and swearing, a girl from the next bunk had to call out to him, comedy. Again, it rained so much at night that I checked my belongings, laptop and bag, which were on the floor, might get wet with water that could enter through the threshold.. Since the roofs are made of sheet metal, the sound of raindrops hitting the roof was quite loud.

There is fog over Waya Lailai Island, another famous island of Fiji that I will pass through today.. Whenever I see a foggy, green mountain, I think of the Black Sea.. I took pictures and went to breakfast, sometimes it rains pretty heavy tropical rains for 10-15 minutes, then it stops, then it starts raining sometimes more heavily than the previous one.. I’m in my bed in my dorm room on Kuata Island right now. The works to enlarge the resort on the island I am staying on continue.

The construction work next door continues despite the rain; They will finish in 2 days.. I will be crossing to Waya Lai Lai Island this afternoon.
