For our Palamutbuku trip that we made with our friends months ago, the journey started literally when we reached the Topçular – Eskihisar ferry from the Anatolian side at 22:00 and boarded the ferry.. We arrived at the center of Datça at 08:00 in the morning.. First, we had our breakfast at the Amisos – Samsun Pide Restaurant on Kumluk Beach.. As someone from the Black Sea region, I don’t like pita at all, but the best pita I’ve ever eaten was here! The price of pitas varies between 11-14 TL.. Since our check-in time is 12:00 noon, we went to the store called Tuna Fish and Sea Materials with the advice of Mr. Bülent, the owner of Amisos, and bought our snorkels and pallets for 250 TL.. The owner of the store retired from the bank and settled in Datça, turning his hobby into a professional.. A place where you can find everything you need for diving and fishing equipment.. Contact information : 0533 352 04 70 – 0252 712 22 92
We bought all the necessary materials and made our shopping from Migros for our apartment and set off for Palamutbükü.. All apartments in Palamutbükü are approximately 40 meters from the sea.. Our preferred apartment was Bozalan Beach Houses.. We paid 220 TL for 2+1. The price of 1+1 is 170 TL. We immediately went to the beach as soon as we placed our belongings in the apartment to get rid of the tiredness of the long road and lack of sleep.. All the restaurants along the beach have tables and sun loungers. Palamutbuku is a very small seaside town. It is a cove with plenty of oxygen, always windy for the unique beauty of almond trees, which has 1 greengrocer, 1 butcher, 2 grocery stores and a tiny port. We visited the fascinating coves around Palamutbükü and ate our lunch at Çaylimanı, Kalamış and different bays and our dinner at Kardelen Restaurant.. Sait Kaptan was the joy of our holiday.. 61 years old, walking barefoot, riding a children’s bike, drinking a big drink every day or killing a dog, as long as it’s a drink, he is a very cute positive person who speaks 4 languages.
We spent our days diving, swimming, spearing, angling, riding, ridge, dam and bombing in the unique turquoise blue coves. But one of the places we enjoyed was the time we spent in Çaylimani.. Çaylimanı is a very small bay, we carried our food, drinks, closet etc. to the beach and our underwater exploration continued here as well.. After eating and swimming, I rested and climbed the mountain with beach slippers and gathered thyme and sage tea from the branch.. Although ours are sold ready-made, even though they try to deter me from collecting, why should I buy it when I can pick it fresh from the branch amid the beautiful scents of thyme, chamomile, sage and various plants, accompanied by this view
We couldn’t get on the boat for 1 day during our holiday. We had to spend a day without sea because of the storm. We spent the day visiting Datça centre, Hayıtbükü, Ovabükü.. We couldn’t enjoy any place we sat or walked around because of the wind created by the storm.. But it was the most beautiful thing to pass through the forests along the way with breathtaking views.
On the last day of our Datça holiday, we went to the bay named Kalamış.. The closest transportation to the bay is 3 km away.. It is necessary to bring the car here and then continue on foot.. We went with Said captain’s boat again.. It was said that this was the easiest, so we preferred this way, but it was not as easy as they said.. Anchored in Kalamış, the men swam to the shore and brought the boat to the boat.. We bought all the necessary materials, especially Sait captain’s raki and loaded them into the boat.. We approached the shore and went to the garden owned by Efe Demir.. The man built here a tiny house and a pool.. Not to mention the vegetables and fruits he cultivates and the animals he feeds.. Our menu consists of vegetables and chicken from the garden. Such a beautiful day, last night, Orkun and I were beaten at backgammon by a 1-hour massage that we had to pay for, and we were tired
One doesn’t get bored of spending time in Datça.. Hiking lovers can do their sports on the paths between the bays.. If you’ve had enough to swim in the old Datça, Hızırşah Village remaining from Menteşoğulları Principality, Reşadiye Village famous for its stone houses, windmills in Kızlan Village, Hayıtbükü, Ovabükü and Palamutbükü are among the places to visit.. For the boat tour, you can join the Mesudiye, Bozburun, Orhaniye, Selimiye, Knidos tours from Palamutbükü or Datça port.. Even to the Greek island of Symi, tours are organized from Datça port. Symi island tour does not have a definite departure, but the tour is organized when there are 8 people. For those who have a visa of 75 euros per person, those who do not have a visa must also pay a visa fee of 55 euros.
