We drove to Paris at 8 am to leave the Amsterdam adventure behind and celebrate the New Year.. We had made our parking reservation and payment online.. We paid 49.5 euros for 2 days for the Quai Branly car park right next to the Eiffel.
First we wanted to go to the hotel and drop off our luggage. we didn’t pay. After the check-in procedures, placing the suitcases in the room and meeting the needs, we parked the car in the parking lot and received our card, and then we went to the famous Champ-Elysees.. If we had thrown a needle on the street, it probably wouldn’t have fallen to the ground, despite all the crowds, our reason for going to the Champ-Elysees was to eat mussels at Leon, a Belgian restaurant chain.. We had to give up when we saw the queue overflowing to the outside. We didn’t even think about going to Arc de Triomphe.We planned to go at night after eating and sightseeing.
By metro from Champ-Elysees to Les Halles We passed by the machine to go to , a stupid type of person sells the tickets to those who come.. He looked at us, we are strangers, he took my heart, he bought us a daily Paris card with his own card.. 10.25 euros per person. When we bought the tickets, we arrived in Les Halles and arrived in Leon on Rue Rambuteau, which is highly recommended and recommended.
As soon as we entered Leon, we saw the mussels in Provencal pots on the tables. Our excitement has increased once again with the effect. We lowered the big pot of mussels into a nice stomach. But our opinion is that we would much prefer to have a plate of stuffed mussels for 10 TL rather than paying 150 TL and eating two pots of boiled mussels.. What was that something so bland. I can’t tell you how they wasted the jumbo shrimp in the seafood mussels that Orkun ordered.. One way or another, we got fed somehow. Having come all the way to Paris, it is impossible not to enjoy wine over your meal. St.. We took the subway for Germain. But our tickets are invalid After a good stake, we bought the ticket ourselves this time.. St.. Germain, sipping our drinks at Le Bonaparte, enjoying a nice conversation and wandering the streets, we completed our day by going to Arc de Triomphe, thinking that the crowd has decreased from here.
Arc de Triomphe
Today we are very excited for New Year’s Eve, we will enter 2013 under the Eiffel We were going to get up early in the morning and go to the parking lot to leave our luggage. tickets are still invalid. It turns out that these French people’s understanding of 1 day (24 hours) is the opposite of ours.. Is it necessary to buy the ticket at exactly 00:00 in order for the ticket to be valid for 24 hours?. Since we bought it last night, the tickets were invalid the next day.. Let’s get tickets again this time! Our 1-day Paris card came to 60 euros for 2 people. Before I put the suitcases in the car and start to visit the places to visit in Paris in order, after completing my shopping list for a few hours, after finding a nice place in Notre Dame Church and then Pont Des Amoureux where our names are written, I locked it.. While we thought that we were starving after visiting the Louvre museum, Opera house, Hausmann, and St.Madaline by eating our Cassis ice cream at the historical Berthillion in Louis en I’lle, we found an empty place at Le Relais de I’Entrecote and ate as if we were out of famine.. We thought we should go to a cafe around the Eiffel and have a drink because we still have 2 hours until the new year, but there were twice as many queues in front of the cafes as there is a queue at the doors of the restaurants.. I think we came to Paris at the very wrong time.. The thing is, we couldn’t really enjoy the New Year’s Eve when it rained for 2 days, just hours before New Year’s. We visited more or less places to see during the time, but to be honest, we do not think we will go to Paris for the second time.. It is a Champs-Elysees avenue at the mouth of the nation.. I wonder if there was something different on the street but we couldn’t see it.. But for many it must be a very important street that for some reason many take pictures under the Champs-Elysees street sign.. It’s funny!!!
They said it’s very stylish, well-groomed for the French, but for some reason, we always came across squats.. We don’t care much whether people are stylish or not, believe me, that filth in the subways is not in the subway of a 3rd class world country.. Can’t sit on the seats because of the dirt. Metro stations stink of the urine of the homeless, and cigarettes are smoked in the subways.
The Eiffel Tower, on the other hand, looks a bit aesthetic thanks to an iron pile that looks like nothing in the daytime, thanks to the lighting at night.. He was among those who opposed the production of Guy de Maupassant’Eiffel, one of the famous writers of Paris.. Although he stated that he would leave the country if this tower was built, he would go to the tower’s cafe and drink his coffee every day after the tower was built.. When they asked him why you were here every day, he replied, “Because this is the only place where I can’t see this pile of iron”.
Whatever we do Although we didn’t like it as much, Places to visit in Paris are as follows;

Notre Dame Cathedral
There is a sign in the courtyard of the cathedral that indicates that this is the center of the world.
Pont Des Amoureux
If you are in Paris with your lover or spouse, go to this bridge and hang a lock.. Of course, we didn’t miss out either, but Orc’s statement “We’ll unlock the next time we come” was the bomb of the day
This is our lock.
