WHICH TYPE OF PASSPORT IS GRANTED TO WHOM?

Ordinary (Bordeaux) Passport Turkish citizens are issued by the Ministry of Interior in the country or by the governorships (Provincial Directorate of Population and Citizenship) according to the authority given by the Minister of Interior, and by the consulates of the Republic of Turkey in foreign countries.

​​TO WHOM SPECIAL (GREEN) PASSPORT IS ISSUED ?

Special (Green) passport, first, second and third degree positions or to be shown in return for these positions, or to the Turkish Republic.. It is given to civil servants and other public officials, who are contracted by the Pension Fund and whose retirement benefits are cut from these degrees, and to mayors who are entitled to retirement with a first degree staff, when they go to foreign countries for any official duty other than those that require the issuance of diplomatic passports, or for their own account. . Green passports are also given to provincial and district mayors during their duties.. The spouses of those who are able to obtain a green passport are also given the same type of passport.

Green passports are also given to those who have left their duties due to retirement or withdrawal from the ones I mentioned above.. In other words, those who resigned while in the first, second or third degree staff also have the right to receive a green passport.. However, for this, a letter must be obtained from the resigned institution stating “in which status, title and degree he resigned”.. It is enough to receive this letter once and give it to the population.. Based on this article, other beneficiaries can get a green passport later on.. Those who export a certain amount can obtain green (special) passports.
In order for exporters to obtain green passports, the average of exports as of the last three calendar years before the application year;
* Companies with 1-10 Million Dollars 1 (one),
* Companies between 10-25 Million Dollars 2 (two),
* 3 (three) companies between 25-50 Million Dollars,
* Specially stamped passports can be issued to four (4) of the companies with 50-100 Million Dollars, and to 5 (five) officials of the companies with more than 100 Million Dollars.

The special stamped passport of the exporters is valid for 2 years and they must not have been convicted of certain crimes specified in the law.

​​WHO IS THE SERVICE (GRAY) PASSPORT GIVEN?

A Service (Gray) passport is issued to people who cannot be given a diplomatic or special stamped passport in accordance with the Passport Law, and those who are sent to foreign countries on an official duty by the government, special administrations or municipalities.

It is also given to those who work as civil servants in international organizations of which the Republic of Turkey is a member, and to those assigned by the Turkish Aeronautical Association and the Turkish Red Crescent Society.. WHO DOES THE TEMPORARY PASSPORT GIVE ?

Temporary (Pink) passport is a document that Turkish citizens abroad can obtain from Turkey’s foreign representatives (consulates). temporary passports; It is given to be valid for 1 month in cases such as passport loss, passport expiration and deportation.. Temporary passport, which can be issued according to the assessment to be made by the Turkish embassy in similar emergencies; it is pink in color, it is a single page and is withdrawn from you as soon as you enter Turkey.

Passport for foreigners, whose names are not mentioned much among the passport types, is a type of passport issued by the Ministry of Interior to persons who are not citizens of any country and who are “stateless” in the legal sense.. So this passport is given to stateless people.

GREEN (SPECIAL) PASSPORT APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Application procedures for special or service passports are handled only by the Provincial Population and Citizenship Directorates in Turkey, and by the Ministry of Interior abroad. It can be done by foreign representatives with the consent of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the instruction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On the written application to be made to the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs of the Ministry of Interior by the institution of the persons working abroad or by the institution to which the persons are affiliated themselves. GRAY (SERVICE) PASSPORT APPLICATION PROCEDURES

TEMPORARY (PINK) PASSPORT APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Temporary passport is obtained from Turkish embassies in your country. LOSS PASSPORT
