One of the places that you will see in your dreams, which never leaves the place.. There are so many things to do in Kaş; I went to Kaş to dive, I stayed on the boat or I went to camp with my friends.. Accommodation and restaurant part is always weak for me.. Anyone who reads my posts knows. Ece Mira Akyıldız and my friend Cüneyt Karamollaoğlu living in Kaş are the guests of this article with their recommendations.. We are joining forces with the places to visit and do.. Well, then what to do in Kaş? where to go What to eat? I’m starting to write suggestions for Kaş holiday.

Kaş Where? How to Go to Kas?

Kaş is a town located in the westernmost part of Antalya in the Mediterranean region, still unspoiled despite everything, established at the foot of the mountains, famous for its bougainvillea, wonderful sea, nightlife, and legendary October 29 celebrations.. It used to be like a village, but now it’s not a village, of course, but the settled people all know each other.. It’s such a small place.

Transportation from Dalaman Airport: There is no direct flight to Kaş. I know that the work on the construction of an airport had started, but it was suspended when non-governmental organizations and the people of Kaş reacted.. As such, the nearest airport is Dalaman Airport.. There is a shuttle service from Dalaman Airport to Kaş center.. You can reach Kaş in approximately 2.5 hours.. There is a one-way price of 99 TL and a round-trip price of 199 TL. You must call ahead and make a reservation.. Address: Andifli Mah.. Atatürk Boulevard Municipality Palace Underground no 18/K Kaş/ Antalya Tel: 0546 612 20 20- 0546 612 67 67

Transportation from Antalya: 189 km between Antalya center and Kaş. The navigation says you can arrive in 3 hours, but you can never arrive at the time the navigation says due to the very winding roads.. There is no choice but to turn on some good music and enjoy the wonderful views.. If you are not going with your own car, minibuses depart from the bus station.

  • If you are going to travel by bus from other cities, there are bus services to Kaş.. It takes 13 hours from Istanbul to Kas (I went there in 26 hours on a holiday) and it takes 8 hours from Ankara and 6 hours from Izmir.
  • Those who will go with their own vehicle can enter the location directly in the navigation and go to the region they are on the most convenient route.

When to go to Kaş?

The season of Kaş almost never ends. I always went at the beginning of the season or at the end of the season.. It gets very crowded in summer because. People like me can go in April, May, September and October.. I say don’t go without making a reservation during the high season and remember that it is very hot.

The season usually ends after the famous October 29 celebrations.. I say famous because it is celebrated with great enthusiasm.. Tables of restaurants are being placed in Kaş square.. Everywhere is decorated with flags. It may be the most beautiful Republic Day celebration you have ever seen.. You need to make a reservation in order to find a place at the tables of the restaurants.

Why Go to Kaş?

Ece started by saying; Hello friends. We took a mini vacation with my family this week.. I really wanted to go to Kaş.. In general, Kaş gives me the impression that it is more expensive than Bodrum, but it really was not like that at all.. I wanted to share my own experiences with those whose route will go that way.

Kaş is a truly wonderful place.. If you want to have a boutique holiday rather than luxury, it is really the right route.. In this article, I will share information such as where I stayed, where I ate and how much I paid.. If you go, you can use these locations and have a wonderful boutique holiday in accordance with your budget.

First of all, the sea of Kaş is wonderful, the water is warm for me, the sea is blue, I don’t like beaches, I prefer to enter from the pier, so I was very happy.. Although there are sandy beaches for those who will go with their children, I think Kaş center is not the right location with a small baby.. (I agree with Ece completely)

So why am I going to Kaş? Kaş is the number one diving enthusiast.. sea is perfect. Great night entertainment. Most places are within walking distance.. Kas is one of the rare places where I can go without a car and have a vacation without getting tired.. When I go with my car, there are many places to visit around.. Let’s take a look at our Kas suggestions.

Where to Stay in Kas?

Kas Accommodation: (Ece’s suggestions)

Hotel Upper House: We stayed in a hotel called UPPER HOUSE in the center. The hotel is clean, the rooms are very nice, you feel touched by an architect, but since it is in the center, there may be some noise.. You can pay attention to this. When you want a room, ask for a side room, not a break room.. The sound of the TV can be heard due to the low insulation on the walls.. That’s why we changed our room. In the attic, we went to the triple room with glass from the roof, this room was very nice in my opinion.. The breakfast is amazing. Pisi Sausage and their homemade jams were delicious.

We paid 4500 TL for 5 people + 2 rooms, 5 nights and 6 days (July 2020), which is a wonderful treat. number (you can call and negotiate a little instead of making the reservation online) Address: PTT Cd, Öztürk Sk. No:15, 07580 Kaş/Antalya Phone: (0242) 836 43 33

Kas Accommodation: (Cüneyt’s suggestions)

Can Mocamp: It is really difficult to sleep in all of the camping areas close to the center of Kaş in the season due to the temperature.. However, Can Mocamp is recommended for those who want to stay close to the center.. suitable for caravan. They provide a nice atmosphere with their live music on certain days.

Hangar Kamp: I can recommend Hangar Kamp for those looking for a different concept.. suitable for caravan. Its manager, Orhan Cebi, is a camping area that he continues to develop with his artistic touches, both because of his years of experience in the camp operation (some people may know him from Fethiye Kayaköy Adventure Camp) and also because he is an architect.. It has a pool and a yoga platform.. Distance to Kas center is 7 km.. 1.5 km from the new bus station. Address: Ağullu, 07580 Kaş/Antalya Phone: 0554 449 12 07

Kaş Accommodation (Where are you in Bahar suggestions)

Kas Camping: Kas Camping is a paid camping area in trees where you can stay with both caravans and tents within a 10-minute walk of the center.. You can also stay in bungalows.. If you don’t have a tent, you can rent it there.. It is one of the rare places where you can live so close to Kaş and so disconnected.. Shower and wc are available. Suitable for the caravan. Each caravan is designed to see the sea from the terraces that are set.. Fees are a little high. It totally depends on what you’re looking for of course.. Address: Andifli, Hospital Cad.. No:3, 07580 Kas/Antalya. For current prices, get information from (0242) 836 10 50.

Where to go swimming in Kaş?

Where to swim in Kaş? (Ece’s suggestions)

Kas Historia Beach: Now let’s have a look at Kaş beaches. Upper House hotel does not have its own beach. Don’t let the photos fool you, but it’s very close to the beach.. If you want, you can go to the beaches on foot or you can go to Kas Historia Beach, where the hotel has a contract.. we went here in 5 days. You do not pay an entrance fee to the beach, but you can go to the beach by boat.. You have to pay 35 TL per person round trip.. The boats take a 10-minute journey every day and the last boat returns at 18:30.. It’s very enjoyable.

We always went at 11 and came back by boat at 18:30.. Prices are very reasonable, beer is 30 TL, fries are 20 TL, hamburger is 40 TL but it’s huge.. (2020) If you are also a hotel customer, they offer a 15% discount. Most importantly, the showers, toilet and business are very clean and they apply social distance rules.. It’s not crowded.

Blanca Beach Resort: I want a cuppa cuppa energetic beach, if you want luxury and a beach at the same time, the right address is Blanca Beach Resort. By Car going. I think the cost of sunbeds was 50 TL and an umbrella was 20 TL.. You can eat and drink anything you can think of. The food is truly amazing. Beach is also nice, but I’m a calm person, one day was enough for me.. Address: Andifli, AndifliY Mahallesi Cukurbag Peninsula, Hidayet Bay No: 21, 07580 Kas/Antalya Telephone: (0242) 836 16 25

Where to go swimming in Kaş? (Cüneyt’s suggestions)

Mumi Beach: While there are many places close to the center, my suggestion would be Mumi Beach. The mind-blowing music, the wonderful approach and interest of its manager, Celal Bey, will make you happy.

Where to go swimming in Kaş? (Where are you spring suggestions)

Kas Derya Beach: While talking about Ready Beach, in addition to Ece, Derya Beach is the most popular Beach in Kas, which I have been to before. I can suggest. You should never go to Derya Beach without a reservation. You will not be able to find a place. You can sunbathe on the wooden piers built on the rocks, go down the intermediate stairs and swim in the beautiful sea of Kaş.. You can taste cocktails and cakes special to Derya Beach. You can witness magnificent sunsets accompanied by magnificent music.. Since I went in 2014, I don’t know about the current prices, but I remember that it was a little above average at that time. Address: Andifli, Government Cd., 07580 Kaş/Antalya Tel: (o242) 836 10 93

Ince Bosphorus: I don’t like facilities much, my favorite place in Kaş is Ince Bosphorus was. This is a place where two sides of a road are seas, like a narrow strait.. No facilities on one side. It’s on the other side. At Çınar Beach, which is the only business located on the side of the facility, you can enjoy the sea and peace during the day and taste delicious food accompanied by live music in the evening in the tavern.

The side without the facility has a pebble and a deepening sea. Suitable for RV. This is one of the favorite places of RVers.. This is the first place I go when I get my trailer. You can reach the center of Kas with a 20-minute walk, or you can take the minibuses departing from the center.. When I was leaving, I took the minibus and walked on the way back.

When you walk a little further from here, there is an even more beautiful municipality beach, but I did not go. If those who try it, I can add it to the article.

  • Small Pebble, Big Pebble, Hidayet’in Cove, other beaches with facilities you can go to.

Where and What to Eat in Kaş?

Eating Kaş (Ece’s suggestions)

Bella Vita: We eat pizza one evening we wanted to go to the Italian kitchen called Bella Vista in the Center. Pizzas are great, but the looks bothered me a lot as the tables come all the time so eat it and get the hell out as soon as possible.. That’s why if you want to eat good pizza, go but eat right away!!! The glass of wine is scrumptious 30 TL, pizzas range from 30 TL to 60 TL. no tea coffee. If you ask, you are eating zapara! Closing time: 00:00 Address: Andifli, 15/2, 07580 Kaş/Antalya Tel: (0242) 836 20 14

Smiley’s Restaurant:

What if you say you want to make raki fish but you don’t want to be ripped off? The restaurant at Smiley’s Restaurant, which we went to by chance and where we were most satisfied at that location, right in the central marina, just ahead of Gratis. This is a husband and wife family business.. Most of the appetizers are made by his wife and they are always at work.. The most amazing appetizers and fish I ate in Kaş were here.. The numbers are pretty decent.. We, 5 people, 8 appetizers (octopus, sea bass marinade, shrimp are also available) salad 2 fish 1 bottle of raki 1 bottle of white wine, calamari, 2 fish We paid 700 TL, which is a wonderful figure. The owner, Mr. İsmail, is very grateful, and his wife is more grateful than him.

These are Ece’s experiences. I was interested in the cistern at the bottom of the restaurant.. Cüneyt said go see. You really need to see. It is exactly for me. Even if you don’t eat they let you in and see. Even the waiters showed me the way and accompanied me.. Cüneyt suggested this place.. He said; It has to be said that Smiley’s Restaurant is one of the best fish in Kaş.

Closing time: 1:30 Address: Andifli, İskele Sk., 07580 Kaş/Antalya Tel: (0242) 836 28 12

Dolphin Restaurant: Dolphin Restaurant is on the hill. There is a wonderful view of Kas. With reservation. The food is all great, but I think Smiley’s was much more successful in taste and you can pay 3 times the amount you pay at Smiley’s here.. It can be a good choice for those who want to make luxury touches on their holiday.. Closing time: 00:00 Address: Andifli, Süleyman Sandıkçı Sk. No:7, 07580 Kaş/Antalya Tel: (0242) 836 35 38

  • There is Historical Istanbul Meatballs in the bazaar for a meal alternative. Meatballs Pizza is scrumptious. Meatballs 40 TL, piyaz 20 TL. In the middle of the table they spread greens and cherry tomatoes and squeeze lemons.. nice concept. Meatballs are different like meat, but delicious.
  • Make sure to eat ice cream from the ice cream shop on the beach, it’s amazing.
Kaş Meal (Cüneyt’s experience) )

Oburus Momus: Recommended for those looking for different tastes in vegetarian cuisine. Closing time: 23:330. Address: Andifli, Andifli Mah, Behind the Coast Guard, Government Cd. No:10/1, 07580 Kaş/Antalya Tel: 0507 704 20 32

Frida Pub: One of the great hamburger varieties don’t go back without eating. Closing time: 2:00 Address: Andifli, Öztürk Sk. No: 4 D:1, 07580 Kaş/Antalya Tel: (0242) 836 40 44

Nereid Gurme: There is a street of taverns in Kaş and people are rightly having difficulty choosing it and it Therefore, my suggestion to you would be Nereid Gourmet tavern.. A place you will love with its appetizers and view. Address: Andifli, Süleyman Sandıkçı Sk., 07580 Kaş/Antalya Tel: (0242) 836 34 74

Recommendations for Kaş Nightlife

Kaş nightlife (Ece’s Advice):
Itch Club Bar: If you want to go to the night club, I wouldn’t recommend it.. Too crowded. Only the The Itch Club Bar was not too crowded and had some great cocktails. That’s why I can’t offer a location other than here.. All clubs in Kaş close at 2:00.. Kaş is already a small place, but it was really enjoyable and not crowded.. Only at night can young people flock to the clubs and the bar street can be a bit crowded. Address: Andifli, Süleyman Topçu Sokak No:8, 07580 Kaş/Antalya

Kas nightlife: (Where are you from Bahar recommendation)

HiJazz: I fell in love with HiJazz. In the years I went, someone named Serhat was singing Elvis songs.. With her hair combed like Elvis Presley, Kaş nights were unforgettable, but I learned that she moved abroad.. It doesn’t exist, but it’s still HiJazz on and it’s always so fun and beautiful. Address: Andifli, Zümrüt Sk., 07580 Kaş/Antalya

This is Ece’s and my nightlife recommendations. When we don’t hear much about Kaş nightlife, my friend Cüneyt Karamollaoğlu, who lives in Kaş, steps in here and says;

Kaş Nightlife (Cüneyt’s suggestions)

Kalimera Bar: is a small and sweet place, run by interior designer Yeşim Hanım, right at the beginning of the bar street.. Summer months for 90s Turkish pop lovers, winter months are a great alternative to relax and enjoy the conversation around the stove.. Address: Andifli, Terzi Sk., 07580 Kaş/Antalya Tel: 0541 256 54 52

Loop Kaş: Electronic music lovers come here… Also, the night place with the most beautiful view in Kaş here too. Address: Andifli, Government Cd. No:12, 07580 Kaş/Antalya

Gagarin: This place, run by Aylin Aslım, is a true after party club.. Opening time at 20:00 Address: Andifli, 07580 Kaş/Antalya

Fırt Bar: Those who want to listen to live music in a completely different style should listen to Hakan. He is both the owner and the soloist of the venue.. Address: Andifli, 07580 Kaş/Antalya

Oxygen Pub: On the grass, with pear seats, shabby, beautiful music playing It is one of the beautiful places in the Marina.. Open until 2:00 pm. Address: Uğur Mumcu Cd. 37/9 Inside of Setur Marina, Next to Migros, 07580 Kaş/Antalya

Echo Bar: Echo Bar, my favorite place to recommend as a live music venue. Normally, it’s a concert venue and there’s a Longing for Cloudlessness or something. A beautiful garden, great performance live music soloists, live music every day of the week in 2 separate groups. In this place, you can have a pleasant time with endless conversations around the stove set up in winter until the closing.. Opening time: 20:00 Address: Andifli, 07580 Kaş/Antalya

Where to stay in Kaş centre? where and what to eat where to have fun where to swim where to visit Now let’s see what we can do in the center of Kaş if we have mastered the topics.

Places to Visit in Kaş Center (Where are you spring suggestions)

Long Bazaar: One of the most visited places in Kaş center one is Uzun Çarşı. It’s only a matter of time before you are teleported to another time with its wooden houses and very slippery cobblestones.. Left and right shops offer you many different products.. Almost every shop in Kaş sells their own designs.. A sarcophagus welcomes you at the beginning of the Uzun Çarşı slope.. Not afraid of death and believing in the immortality of the soul Lion Sarcophagus, also known as King Sarcophagus, is a king’s tomb and belongs to the Lycian League.. Unfortunately, no one has been able to decipher the writings on it yet.. It may be the most photographed place in Kaş.. When you go down to the beach, you can see other sarcophagi on the sea side on the left.

Antiphellos Ancient City Theatre: The amphitheater, which is about 10 minutes’ walk from the center of Kaş, is the leading actor of the sunset in Kaş.. This was a theater with a capacity of 4 thousand people.. The activity here is generally as follows: Grab your wine and glass.. sit in a row. Watch the amazing sunset. For those who do not want to walk, there is a place to leave a car in the narrow streets.

Kaş Panorama: Another sunset point is Kaş observation terrace or Kas Panorama. Type one of these in the navigation and it takes you there. The Çukurbağ Peninsula, Limanağzı Bay, İnceburun and Uluburun peninsulas and Meis Island, which overlooks all of Kaş from the top, are all but right in front of you.. Here, you leave your car by the side of the road and walk two steps.

Meis Island:

You can cross the Greek Island of Meis from Kaş center. No problem for those with a green passport, but if you have a normal burgundy passport, you must have a valid Schengen visa.. When everything is back to normal, you can pass by getting a door visa. Meis Island is the farthest from Greece and the closest island to us.. Only 20 minutes from Kas to Meis. When I researched how to go, I saw that there were two companies.. One is Meis Express and the other is Heroes.

I chose Heroes because there was a night expedition. Normally 25 Euro go and come. If you pay 5 more Euros, you can return at 23:00.. The evening flight is actually between 18:00 and 23:00. I thought that I would swim all day and I would pay 30 Euros and return at 23:00, but after they cut the ticket, they said that there is no night time.. The season is over. There were 35 people on the ferry and it wasn’t worth lifting the boat.. So, I ran around Meis. (October 2019)

When you go to Meis, definitely take the Blue Cave tour. When I went, I was included in the German group and paid 5 Euros.. You pay something between 5-10 Euros.. Wander the narrow streets. Do not return without eating seafood. When you return at 18:00, everything can be done by running.

So far, these were activities you can do on foot in the center.. You don’t need a car for what you will do in the center, but if you are going to visit the surroundings of Kaş and your time is limited, you should of course rent a car, if you do not have a car.

Places to Visit around Kaş- East (Where are you Spring Suggestions)

Kekova Boat Trip: Kekova The boat tour is done by boats departing from Üçağız Village.. There are stone houses where you can stay in Üçağız.. What you will see when you take the Kekova Boat Tour will be the Sunken City.. He will stop by the Pirate Cave and Kaleköy.. There will be a swimming break in beautiful bays.. In these boat tours, including meals, the meals are in the form of fish or chicken and are eaten on the boat.

The grilled fish cooked by the captain on my last boat tour was delicious, but the captain was strange.. Boat tours are done by one hand by Üçağız Village cooperative.. If you are crowded, you can rent a complete boat.. The fee for this was 750 TL in August 2020. If you are only 2 people like us, you will use the normal tour boats.. 125 TL per person. I went on a boat tour years ago, but he just scammed us.. We haven’t seen any place. He didn’t even take it to Kaleköy.

Kaleköy- Simena Ancient City:

When you take the Kekova tour, you definitely stop by Kaleköy, but you can only stay for one hour.. At this hour, one is confused whether to run to the sarcophagus, climb the castle, eat and drink something.. They say that when you come to Üçağız Village, the only way to go to Kaleköy is by boat.. If you don’t go on a boat tour, you just want to go to the village, you will pay 100 TL per person.. If the boat tour was 125 TL, we bought a tour.. Of course, it was a lie that transportation to Kaleköy was only by boat.. If I wasn’t so tired, I would look at the map and find my way.

There is no way directly to the village, of course.. We had to drive up to a certain point and then walk for 15-20 minutes.. I swear we were walking. We wouldn’t run like crazy in Kaleköy either.. We even used to canoe by the sarcophagus.. There are very cute hostels in Kaleköy.. You can come and vacation here. Do not leave without tasting their handmade goat’s milk ice cream. The lemon one is my favourite.. A museum card is required to go to the castle or you will pay a fee at the door.

Kekova Boat Tour and Kaleköy Accommodation and more detailed article here link

Demre: While you’re here, you can visit Santa’s village 51 km away.. The ancient city of Myra was truly legendary. Nicholas Church (Santa Claus) was full of Russian tourists who came to make pilgrimages. The most interesting thing to us was jumping into a well in Burguç Healing Water spa.. Ice cold water is believed to be healing.. The smell of sulfur spreads all over the place.. You can take a mud bath in the stream.. You can swim in Çayağzı. There are other ancient cities in Demre, but this is enough for us in a short tour.

Places to Visit around Kaş – West (Where are you in Bahar suggestions)

Kaputaş Beach: Kaputaş The beach is located on the Kas-Kalkan highway, 20 kilometers from Kas and 7 kilometers from Kalkan.. When you achieve this, 187 steps descending to the beach await you in front of you.. You can take a minibus from Kas or Kalkan to get to the Kaputaş Beach by minibus.. We once came by minibus and returned by hitchhiking.

The use of shampoo and soap is prohibited in the showers on the beach.. There is a facility. There are sunbeds and umbrellas. I prefer to go out of season because I like the old untouched ones more.. While you’re here, don’t forget to swim to the Blue Cave.. I did not swim, but the swimmers talked about a 15-20 minute swim. If you can’t swim well, don’t try. Kaputaş Beach is famous for its waves and violence.. It is the underground water resources that make the water of Kaputaş Beach ice cold and they come from the canyon behind the beach.. I’ve been past that canyon before. You can find that article here.

Kalkan: The distance between Kalkan and Kaş is only 27 km.. Kalkan is slightly higher priced than Kaş.. It stands out with its villa tourism. There is a wonderful marina and a beach just a short distance away when you go down the slope roads.. I like the night version more.. Shiny light shops, hand made design products, music overflowing the streets, streets with bougainvillea enchanted me.. You can reach by minibus between Kas and Kalkan.. It departs from the bus station at certain times.. Last night was at 22:00.

Patara Beach, Patara Ancient City and Patara Sand Dunes:

Patara Beach with minibuses departing from Kas or Kalkan You can reach. In order to enter Patara Beach, it is necessary to have a museum card or you will pay a fee.. We obtained the number of groups with the minibuses and provided discounted entry.. This is the minibus driver’s advice to us.. On the way to the beach, you cannot pass without visiting the ancient city of Patara.. Never miss it, especially when this year has been declared the year of Patara with its ancient theatres, ancient harbor and sarcophagi.

Patara Beach is 12 km long, fine sand and famous a place you should never miss with sunsets. The sand dunes behind the beach are a favorite of recent times.. Sunset in Patara Sand Dunes is now very popular. There is no public transport to get there. Navigation is faultless, but the path is very bad.. Difficult to find a place to leave a car because of the crowd. Impossible to find a hill without people. If you go at the beginning or end of the season, you will be less affected.

Kas Activities

Kas Diving and Excursion Boats (Where are you spring suggestions)

Barakuda Diving: Kaş Of course, boats are another alternative to swimming in. Diving is the most popular activity in Kaş.. Swimming and enjoying while diving. In addition to diving for a full day, you can dive for half a day in Kaş.. Whatever you want to do, they arrange it for you.. I’ve always dived with Hasan Kaptan at Barakuda Diving in Kaş.

300 Bar Diving: At the same time, my friend also started diving tours on the 300 Bar Diving diving boat there. started. You can dive in both. 300 Bar Diving’s boat is smaller. It’s worth pointing out.

Kas Diving Fees: Diving fees in Kaş are 175 TL for single dives and 200 TL for edneme dives. Fixed prices are applied to all boats.. For divers with their own equipment, the fee is 150 TL (2020)

Turkey’s most beautiful diving spots are located in Kaş. You may find yourself swimming with Caretta carettas.. Don’t forget to take your underwater camera with you.

Cyprus Canyon: The canyon around the Sütlegen Village on the ridge of Kalkan is an indispensable stop for adrenaline enthusiasts. . The canyon is quite long, but not completely crossed.. The first 5 km is suitable for tourists. Although the rest of the canyon is coded by ICT canyoning, it is not suitable for those who do not actively do this sport.. At first, you can experience that excitement and see how you can see inside a canyon.

Cüneyt’s suggestion: You can do many activities with the tours you can take from Kaş center Begonvil Turizm.. Do not return without doing a Jeep Safari, especially under the guidance of Volkan.. You can also buy the canyon tour here.
