I wanted to tell
Sazova Park places to visit, just like Eskişehir Odunpazarı Houses.. Because it constitutes an important place in Eskişehir places to visit. It is quite famous because it houses the Eskişehir fairy tale castle and is known as the Disneyland of the city.. There are even those who come to the park just to take pictures in front of the Eskişehir castle. Of course Sazova, outside the castle; It also includes museums, zoos and playgrounds.. Don’t worry, I will tell you all of them one by one below with their photos.. Then, should we start our Eskişehir Sazova Park article right away?
If you have an Eskişehir trip plan, I would say that you should definitely read the following articles in order:

Before moving on to Sazova Park attractions, I would like to talk about transportation and entrance fees:
1. Sazova Park Transportation and Entrance Fee and Where
Access to the park located on the Eskişehir – Kütahya highway is very easy. Located on the west side of the city, the park is next to the new Eskişehirspor Stadium.
If I were to list the transportation alternatives to Sazova Park:
- By your own car or rented car ( Especially those coming from Istanbul and Ankara can see Sazova Park first)
- By taxi from the central regions (10-15 minutes will cost around 20 TL)
- By public transportation (11 from Odunpazarı Houses) -Busses numbered 17 or minibuses numbered 16-38 at the back of the old stadium) You can easily reach Sazova Park.
- My advice is to travel comfortably by renting a car.. Especially if you are coming to Eskişehir for 2-3 days, you can spend your time more efficiently by renting a car.

Finally, I would like to point out that the entrance to Sazova Park is free of charge.. However, many attractions in the park are paid.
I have written below which sections are and their fees one by one, with visiting hours, don’t worry.. In fact, let’s start to tell about the places to visit right away:
By the way, all Eskişehir transportation alternatives and much more Where is Eskişehir – How to get there – Map – Population I told in my article. Must be read.
2. Sazova Park Places to Visit
I would like to start by stating: Sazova Park (Science, Art and Culture Park) is among the most beautiful and largest parks not only in Eskişehir but also in Turkey.
So much so that it appeals to both children and adults with its different structures on an area of approximately 400,000 m2.. (Of course, it is much more enjoyable especially for families with children)
So you can see, the extraordinary nature of the structures and the fact that they are equipped with beautiful activity areas, put the park at the top of the list of places to visit in Eskişehir.
Don’t worry, I have explained all the places you will visit in Sazova Park one by one below.. The list is as follows:
- Tale Castle
- Pirate Ship
- Esminyatürk Masterpieces of the Turkic World
- Turkish World Science, Culture and Art Center
- Eskişehir Zoo
- Eti Underwater World
- Sabancı Space House
- Science Experiment Center
You know, I said at the beginning, “This is one of the biggest parks in Turkey”, that’s why even one day may not be enough for the park.. Because there are many important buildings here.
And apart from the places I will explain below, there are nice restaurants, multiple playgrounds, cafes and places to buy souvenirs in the park.
As such, people do not understand how time passes in Sazova Park.. But at least if you decide on which parts to focus more on before you go, it will be a more productive trip for you.
Then, without wasting any more time, let’s start with the most important attraction of Sazova Park:
Be sure to read all my articles before taking the Eskişehir tour: ESKISEHIR
2.1 Fairy Tale Castle
Lots of photos The place where you can share with the text “You would like it if it was Disneyland, but this is Eskişehir”: Fairy Tale Castle.
But definitely! Don’t be content with just having a photo taken in front of this legendary structure that was created by combining different towers in Turkey!
Because Fairy Tale Castle has many things worth seeing and feeling inside, apart from just taking pictures in front of it. contains. But first, let’s talk about why its exterior is so important:
The exterior architectural structure of the Fairytale Castle is very valuable.. Because it bears traces of many important towers in our country. “And what are the towers that it bears?” The answer to the question is :
- Istanbul – Galata Tower
- Diyarbakir – Bell Tower
- Istanbul – Topkapi Palace
- Mardin – Ulu Tower
- Istanbul – Maiden’s Tower
- Amasya – Twirl Tower
- Istanbul – Cinderella Tower
- Antalya – Grooved Tower
If you take a good look at the photo below, you will see that the tower parts of the Fairy Tale Castle have a great look inspired by the structures above.
- Mysterious Journey: The section where children between the ages of 5-11 are included in plays with fantastic decorations together with theater actors.
- Land of Legends: A section where children and adults can learn about Turkish culture and Turkish legends.
- Evvel Zaman Sokak: A place where you can buy souvenirs and take photos and videos. chapter.
- Magic Apple Cafe: A sweet break section designed with details about fairy tale heroes and fairy tales.
- Tale Castle Scene: The section where workshops and shows are held.
You can visit the sections I mentioned above in 2 ways.. The first is a non-session trip, the second is a session trip.. So what is this distinction :
- Extra Session Area: You can visit the ground floor, souvenir shops, viewing terrace and cafe.. Its fee is: Adults – 4 TL, discount – 3 TL
- Travel Area with Sessions: Area where 2 kinds of fairy tale tours are organized. One for adults and one for children. Tours vary between 15-25 minutes. Its price is: Adults – 10 TL, discount – 5 TL there are days of telling. (Photo: www.masalsato.com)
My suggestion is that families with children spend a lot of time here.. Because there are tours inside the castle that are very useful for children to share, unite, make their own decisions freely, and most importantly, expand their imaginations. Wouldn’t it be bad?
By the way, I would like to talk about the visiting hours of the fairy tale castle.. My advice is to come to the park early.. Because working hours end early. And Tuesday – Wednesday CLOSED!
Tale Castle Hours of Operation :
- Weekdays: 10.00-17.00 , Weekend: 10.00-17.15 (closed Tuesday-Wednesday)

2.2 Ship Museum (Pirate Museum)
The Pirate, located in Sazova Park right next to the artificial lake, His ship is one of the museums that attracts the most attention in the park.
“Which ship was it inspired by?” If you say, I can say that it has the design of the Mayflower, the first ship that carried immigrants to America by crossing the Atlantic Ocean in 1620.
The materials inside the ship, especially the captain’s cabin, and the crew’s hammocks will interest you.
To examine the pirate ship we always see in movies in real life. really great feeling. You should definitely stop by.

2.3 Esminyatürk Masterpieces of the Turkish World
Of course, it’s best to go and see every building in its place.. But if you haven’t had the opportunity to see all the important structures yet, you can see the miniatures of the Turkish World Masterpieces here.
Therefore, before visiting the Turkish World Science, Art and Culture Center, which I will explain below, stop by Esminyatürk in the front garden of the complex.
It doesn’t take much time anyway.. You can walk around in as little as 15 minutes.. By the way, there are 32 wonderful models in Esminyatürk.
The Selimiye Mosque and the Taj Mahal are among the most important building miniatures.
So only on Turkish territory Here you can see examples of magnificent works bearing Turkish traces in countries that have experienced Turkish culture.
Meanwhile, there is a dense Circassian population in Eskişehir.. And 21 May 1864 is a sad date for the Circassian people.

By the way, speaking of airplane, I want to open a separate parenthesis for this part.. Because although there is an airport in Eskişehir, it is generally used for educational purposes.. That’s why flights are so limited. And you can find tickets mostly in the summer months.
After giving this detail, I want to go to another place in Sazova Park where you can wander with pleasure and curiosity:
2.7 Sabancı Space House
The reason why its name is ‘Sabancı’ is because it is a space center built with the support of Sabancı.. Make sure to stop by here. Because:
The center, designed for the development of scientific thinking systems, has the distinction of being the largest planetarium in Turkey equipped with the latest technology.
not just for walking. It is actually a special hall where you can participate in presentations and different shows.

3. Where to Stay in Eskişehir?
I have made plenty of accommodation suggestions in my article on places to visit in Eskişehir, but in this article, I would like to make a few suggestions:
- Exactly in the heart of the city. : Grand Namlı Hotel (2 persons 1 night accommodation price is 252 TL including breakfast)
- Close to train station: Hotel Ibis Eskisehir (2 persons for 1 night stay is 144 TL)
- Located right next to Porsuk Stream: SennaCity Hotel (2 persons 1 night accommodation price includes breakfast) It varies between 160-300 TL)
- Located in the historical Odunpazarı area: Abacı Boutique Hotel (2 person 1 night accommodation price is 151 TL including breakfast)
Hotels on the edge of Odunpazarı and Porsuk Stream can be more enjoyable. Because Odunpazarı is considered the center of the city and it is another good thing to stay in its hotels with historical texture.
The Porsuk Stream side gives you the feeling of being in a different country.. When you wake up in the morning, it is very enjoyable to watch the boats sailing on the creek.
