Shopping Frenzy Abroad: 7 Popular Brands You Can’t Find in Turkey

Looking at Instagram, the general picture drawn by people who go abroad and hit themselves shopping: “I only shop at small and featured boutiques…..” Do we eat this? We don’t eat, dear, we didn’t…Okay, of course we like to shop at special places and make different discoveries.. But sometimes we surrender ourselves to the hands of typical ready-made clothing brands, we love to exploit brands that are not available in Turkey.. Of course, we come across very beautiful design products and we mourn at the beginning.. Because such products usually cost us 234234 Euros and make us sad.. So what do we do? We immediately throw ourselves into ready-made clothing stores, where we can even find shoes for 9 euros during the discount period.. What’s our fault if we love shopping? Should we go to the museum or have a morning at the opera? we are human too. DON’T JUDGE ONLY WATCH. As a result, we are very confident that there are people like us among you, and we decided to prepare a small-scale guide for you on brands that are not in Turkey and talk about a few brands that you can often encounter abroad.. You may know some of them, you may want to meet some of them thanks to us and smother us with kisses, that part is yours.. This effort we put in to set foot in other continents and other countries and not miss these brands… Are you aware of how good people we are?

& Other Stories

Let’s do the introduction with one of our favourites, & Other Stories! This Swedish-based brand is one of the brands that we are secretly happy because it does not exist in Turkey, and we are slyly happy that “oh, such beautiful clothes will not be on all of us as if they were distributed by Kızılay”.. We wouldn’t be too surprised if he came to Turkey though, because he’s the brand of the same group as H&M.. Just be ready to encounter something above H&M in terms of price, because its concept is much different.. We are also sick of the creams, body sprays and cosmetics of this brand, where you can find clothes, shoes, bags, whatever God has given you.. Do not overlook it.

Urban Outfitters

We don’t know if it is possible that you have set foot abroad a few times and not discovered Urban Outfitters, but we still did not want to pass without mentioning it.. We know people who will start a campaign so that Urban Outfitters can come to Turkey and chain themselves in front of a store, the matter is very serious… This is the sacred store of hipsters, a store adored by bohemians and fashion bloggers camp in it.. It is also possible to find products of many different brands in it, it changes from time to time.. The most beautiful feature of the store, which also has a separate section for men, is indisputably decorative products, stationery and books! But when it comes to Urban Outfitters, we are talking about such a wide scale that it is possible to buy a record player from here, a camera, and some other products that you will never need in your life, but you will decide to buy just because you are struck by its beauty… God damn you. capitalism, did you win again?

Forever 21

Well, give up now. Friends, haven’t you entered Forever 21, the temple of cheapness, where we can buy those 9 euro shoes we mentioned above, and the life source of our young girls who are constantly caught up in the new fashion trends you see on Tumblr? Don’t you ever look around? How could you skip Forever 21 as amazing people who can say discount in 18 languages and even understand the word REBEJAS? The first crop tops of the summer, the t-shirts with the most message concerns of every season, those products that you pantomime on the very thick line between buying and not buying by saying “how can I wear this, it doesn’t even cover my one leg”, they are all here! Have you ever come across the discount period, you are the king, don’t forgive friends, don’t forgive… PS. Monki

Monki may be less common than super popular stores worldwide like Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters. However, in fact, we can say that it is a good brand from them.. If you are addicted to brands like Zara, Bershka, Pull and Bear in Turkey, Monki is definitely a brand you might like and you can find products with no ridiculous prices.. Even if we weren’t talking about him, he would most likely attract your attention because of their funny window designs and stores, that’s another matter.

Weekday

If you haven’t met Weekday before, this is very normal.. Because it is not actually a store in many countries.. That’s why it makes you feel extra happy when you see him anywhere.. If you go, it is possible to find the products of various brands you know, as well as more special things from Weekday.. In terms of price and quality, you can think of Zara taste, a little higher from time to time.. Of course, sometimes it can also put you in situations where you can find yourself immersed in thoughts such as “it’s very nice, but the Euro is too long”.. In summary, if you haven’t met before, we think you’ll love it, don’t miss it.

NewYorker

Look at the beginning, we don’t really like NewYorker that much.. Because their products are pretty crappy (the unbearable lightness of being able to rant about it as a foreign brand) and mostly they do really ugly things.. So why are we on this list? Because it is possible to make bread especially in pajamas, bikinis, phone cases, accessories and crappy glasses.. Plus it’s really cheap. Also, no matter how bad we get, you can come across a few good pieces by chance.. There are those trips around Central Europe where you put on thin clothes saying “it’s summer anyway, the weather will be nice” and then you come across an absurd cold, at those moments New Yorker can be your savior.. Other than that, there is no big deal.. Keep it in mind though.

Uterqüe

We hit the bottom with The New Yorker, let’s go up again with Uterqüe, to the floor of the rich. (the bottom was pretty good actually, anyway) Uterqüe, whose name seems to be made up, actually existed in Turkey until a while ago.. However, it is not known whether it is because of us sneaks or because it does not address Turkey, it is closed.. So what are we doing? We find and attack Uterqüe abroad. Uterqüe, which we can evaluate with the same taste as & Other Stories in terms of price scale, is actually a brand belonging to the same group as Zara, the source of life for Turkish girls and the pillar of our house.. We can say that it is an upper segment. (segment, wow?) Their products are really high quality, we get yelled at for their shirts and leather jackets, but as we said, it’s a bit pricey. We love, we kiss, don’t miss it.

It’s not very common, so we won’t be offended… Here you go.
