Thailand Visa Considerations

Thailand is one of the beautiful countries that does not require visas from Turkish citizens, but there are some points to be considered in order not to have any difficulties in entering.. I’m sharing what you need to know about the Thailand visa and what happened to me.

When you enter Thailand by air, you can stay in the country for 1 month, and when you enter by land or sea, you can stay in the country for 15 days. asks you to present your return ticket or a continuation ticket to another country to be sure. In addition, it will be beneficial to have documents such as hotel reservations and a chart of accounts showing your financial situation.. It’s that simple!

Let’s come to the troubles I have with my Thailand visa…

As I went on an Asian tour and I don’t know exactly which country I will go to after Thailand, neither a return ticket nor a continuation I Took the ticket. The Turkish mind immediately tries to be cunning, I bought a return ticket from a certain airline and canceled it after printing it out.. The ticket is with me at the passport control, which I will show if anyone asks.. But the problem is that when I checked in, the checkin officer asked me to present the ticket while I was still in Turkey, and after showing it, when he checked it from the e-ticket number, he said that there was no such ticket and he could not take me on the plane.. Although I explained the situation, he was not convinced, he at least asked for a continuation ticket and I had to deal with it in 40 minutes.. there was only time to speak. I immediately called my roommate. Thankfully, he bought me a ticket to Kuala Lumpur and sent me the booking number.. When I went with that number, the officer working at Çelebi did not accept this either, she wanted to see a ticket number.. My persuasion ability is high, but this time I was not successful, whatever I did, the woman was not convinced.. I had to postpone it so that my ticket wouldn’t burn because there were 5 minutes left before the counter closes.. There is a fine of 50 euros. The older sister at the Emirates ticketing office was very understanding and helpful. He bought my ticket 2 days later and said that in case of any problems, you will pay the fee when it comes.

I went to my friend in a hurry.. I’m relieved that I’m in no rush anyway. The subject of going to that friend was also a bit of an event, but let me not confuse him now.

I waited on the street for a while because my friend’s phone was switched off…

I’m examining the ticket I bought from Airasia, there is no such thing as an e-ticket number. none . There was a statement on the site that you can print your ticket 14 days before the earliest. I bought the ticket 1 month later, so in this case, I cannot print and access the e ticket number.. I said come on, let me pull the ticket before 14. I also paid change money for it.. I printed the ticket. What is this! There is no e-ticket number on the ticket. There is only the booking number that I showed to the woman who worked at Çelebi that day.. Shock shock shock. Later, I learned that some airlines work with a booking number.. Oh woman, if you don’t know, why do you insist?. Anyway, these are all experiences for me..

When my flight day came, I first went to the Emirates office and explained the situation.. They made a note on my ticket and photocopied my flight to Kuala Lumpur. Then I went to the counter. When another Çelebi officer saw the ticket, he did not cause any trouble and accepted me on the flight.. So what is it, you can fly with that booking number.
I landed in Thailand fully equipped and I am prepared for all questions.. The officer at the passport control printed a 30-day visa stamp without asking a single question.
