For those who decided to have the most unforgettable experience of their life by mustering up their courage, or for those who see in the pictures and wonder what it is, I will try to talk about Skydive Dubai and convey what you are wondering and my own experiences.

What is Skydiving?
Skydiving, in Turkish, can be summarized as “air diving” or “sky diving”, going up to a certain height by plane, then jumping out of the plane accompanied by an instructor.. Those who do skydiving alone are those who have the necessary knowledge and experience in the subject, and those who will try for the first time, like us, cannot jump alone.. The jump we will do with the instructor is called tandem jump (double jump).

I guess you must have wondered what the height is in the expression ‘to a certain height’ that I used in the first sentence For Skydive Dubai, this height is 13 thousand feet, that is 4000 meters.
When you jump from the plane, free fall starts for about a minute, called free fall; anyway, this is skydive’s thing, this free fall. During what will be the most memorable moment of your life, you fall to the ground at a crazy speed of 210 km per hour.. The instructor opens the parachute when you descend to the required height by looking at the altimeter attached to his arm, and you descend to the ground by watching the magnificent view of Dubai from the sky for 3-5 minutes.. I couldn’t take my eyes off the beauty of Palm Island.. If you have done Paragliding before (I did that too ) it will not be a new experience for you after the parachute is opened.

Due to its close proximity to the famous Palm Jumeirah (Palm Island) and the city’s unique view that integrates with the island, Dubai is one of the most popular places for skydive. Skydive Dubai, on the other hand, is a reliable institution with its instructors who are all certified and have an average of 10 years of jumping experience (it says so on their website).. At least it gave me confidence and I decided to skip it
