WHAT EAT IN VARNA? WHAT TO DRINK?

Food culture in Bulgaria has characteristics from Mediterranean, Slavic and Ottoman cuisines. Although it differs in its preparation, there is no dish that we say you must try, as it is highly inspired by Turkish cuisine, both in terms of presentation and variety.

Kashkaval cheese, unique to the Balkans. so the cheddar cheese tastes pretty good. Affordable price. We bought 2-3 rounds

You can try the yellowish raki called Rakiya. Or you should try the Zagorka Bulgarian beer.

Don’t forget to taste the turbot fish, which is especially mentioned with Varna.

Definitely a meal in the pirate ship on the coast of Varna. You should choose Baba restaurant. Although we arrived a little late, the sailors, the waiters, were hospitable and interested, as if we were their friends… Of course, this may be because we were their last customers

Chiflika: 50 km away farm restaurant. Although it is far from the city center, Chiflika is the first place that comes to mind when it comes to Varna and food.. I think that, besides the fact that the restaurant established on a farm offers traces of the town life, it also has an effect on hosting Prince Charles..
