Sofra Ocakbaşı is a restaurant in the center of Izmit, in front of Hotel Asya, where we were satisfied with the service and the taste of its kebabs. A while ago, Yahya Kaptan opened the ground floor of the Imperial Park Hotel near Yahya Kaptan, and we had one last raki kebab before England in Izmit, where we stopped by to take the children after our trip to America. Although I personally like to sit at the tables around the barbecue in places with a fireside concept, we prefer the table because we come with children. As a matter of fact, it is difficult to find a place even at the table. Appetizers are few, concise and delicious, tail fat is used in kebabs, I think it is very, very good. The service is sincere and caring.
