Is it a grudge? (Mihlama?) Or Menemen? I would like to tell you about a modest breakfast place in Moda, Kadıköy, where you can eat the best mihlama and menemen in Istanbul, giving you the best of both worlds. Çay Tarlası, a small cafe with three or five tables in Moda, is run by Oguz Bey, the older brother of the late Kazım Koyuncu. He himself stands at the beginning of the work. The service is related, and both muhlama and menemen are quite delicious. Tea is 2 TL, menemen/muhlama is 12.5 TL.There is also a breakfast plate option for those who say no, I don’t have cheese, I can’t have breakfast without olives. (15 TL) But in my opinion, it would be logical to keep your appetite just for muhlama and menemen…
Two people go, one more than one more, Wandering Mom advice. 🙂
